Volleyball

The way you play volleyball is to hit it over the netting.

There are two teams only.It is usually a girls’ sport (mostly) but

boys can play it as well, just as often. Each player takes turns “serving” it or

restarting the game again.

Basketball

The main idea of this sport is to throw the ball through the hoop, or basket, above.

Usually the ball is orange, with black lines.

In national basketball, there is one team competing against another.

In our school’s basketball, two people compete at a time, on both teams.

War Ball

The main idea of “war ball” is to hit someone with the ball, and to not get “out” or hit, yourself.

If you do happen to get hit, you are supposed to sit or stand on the sidelines. It doesn’t count if the ball bounces back and hits you.

If someone is the last one out, they can go anywhere on the field, and no one can go on their side of the field and get their balls.

Prison Ball

Prison ball is a lot like war ball in a way.

It has two teams on either side. But, once hit, you must stay behind the

opposite team in a certain area. The only way to get back “in” is to

catch a ball thrown to you by one of your teammates.

Hockey

Though we don’t play this sport at our school, we can still know about it.

The basics of hockey are skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting.

A puck is a small black disk that is used only for this game.

There is also a goalie, who stops the puck from reaching the net, or goal.

Softball sports spectator.com

Softball games are played in units called “innings”.

There is no set time for how long an inning may or might last.

Each half of the innings continues until the defense calls three “outs”. If the game is tied after the last inning, the game continues until one team has more points than the other.

Tennis

Play continues until one player wins the predetermined number of sets of turns required for the match, usually two or three.

If you miss a serve, it is called a fault. If you miss two serves, it is called a

“double” or two faults.
