3. Introduction

Rapid advancement in technical fields and its influence in our day-to-day work have produced a challenging demand of technically well trained people. Thus the need for establishing an Institute of Technical Training was felt by SUPARCO to prepare highly competent and technically well trained workforce. The SUPARCO Institute of Technical Training (SITT) has come a long way to what it is today. The genesis of the Institute was laid out of t h e need for preparing fresh diploma holders in the environment of SUPARCO. Keeping in view the present and future manpower needs, SITT was established in the year 2002 at SUPARCO, Karachi. Initially, diploma programs in the fields of Electronics and Mechanical were introduced. It is an elite institution that offers exceptional preparation for professionals that require technological sophistication. Through a committed faculty and close personal attention, SITT provides a challenging academic program in line with the rigor of the real world. Inter professional projects prepare students for that world with interdisciplinary approach that demands creativity as well as technical and industrial skills. SITT is a recognized institute of training for Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electronics and Mechanical Trades and is affiliated with Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE). Highly qualified and leading professionals of Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical technologies form the Institute faculty. State-of-the-art lecture rooms, laboratories, workshops and a resourceful library are the hallmark of SITT. Above all, the institute offers a conducive environment for learning. to create professionals with thorough understanding of fundamentals and the capability of applying this knowledge for research, design and development purposes. At present, SITT is running several academic programs, all aiming to prepare a technically sound workforce for SUPARCO. These include:

• a 3-year apprenticeship program, providing DAE qualification to matriculate students

• the Skill Development Program for training the existing technical manpower of SUPARCO

• a 1-year post DAE apprenticeship training program for DAE qualified sub engineers

• a number of short training courses in both technical and non-technical fields

The continuous need for progressing forward necessitates a constant effort to improve the existing infra structure and open the way for innovative developments.

5. The InstituteQuality education today relies on a number of resources. Among these are libraries, laboratories, well-built lecture rooms and technological resource centers. These resources not only facilitate the teaching-learning process but also offer opportunities for both teachers and students to experiment and achieve much more.

Class Rooms The Institute has 4 Lecture rooms with a capacity of about 30 to 40 students. All class rooms are well-lit and equipped with training aids and audio system. Multimedia facility is also available. In addition, there is a large Multi Purpose Hall with a capacity of about 60 students.

Advance Electronics Lab The institute has an Advance Electronics Lab equipped with sophisticated electronic trainer kits with computer interfacing facilities. In addition, latest test and measuring instruments are available to facilitate students for performing practicals. This lab offers design and fabrication of electronics projects which enhances the skills of students.

Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Lab Programmable Logic Control Lab gives students a hands-on experience with PLCs and other industrial control setups which they will come across during their career. This lab also introduces students to the advanced field of robotics with a highly developed robotics setup.

Electrical Lab Electrical Lab contains many types of motors, generators and electrical wiring arrangements to give students a sound basis in this field.

Computer Lab

Computer Lab extends facilities such as multimedia, printers, scanners and other peripherals to all its users. All computers in the lab are connected via a high speed data network.

Engineering Software Training Lab Engineering Software Training Lab provides training on various software applications required to assist students in their studies. Various software applications are installed to provide extra computing power for preparation of assignments and projects.

Hardware Interfacing Lab

Hardware Interfacing Lab is a newly established lab which focuses specially on the various methods of interfacing electronic hardware to software.

Communication and Antenna Design Lab This is another newly established lab whose primary task is to cover all aspects of communication systems via advanced test equipment and special trainer kits. It also includes a sophisticated setup for antenna design and testing.

Hobby Shop

Hobby Shop was built with the unique but crucial aim of giving students practical experience working with, troubleshooting and actually building all types of electronic circuits. For this purpose it is equipped with a number of devices and appliances which students are free to take apart and study. This boosts their confidence while they are in practical field. Besides routine practical classes, students use this shop for building projects.

PCB Printing and Screening Lab PCB Printing and Screening Lab serves the purpose of instructing students in the process of PCB printing and also allows them to print their own PCBs here.

Physics Lab Physics Lab is fully equipped with apparatus and equipment to provide students the necessary practical exposure required to complement the theoretical concepts taught to them in this subject. Complete setups related to the fields of Physics such as Optronics, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Solid State Physics and Electricity are available.

Chemistry Lab SITT has a ventilated, spacious, well equipped and properly maintained chemistry lab to cater to the academic needs of students. Multiple equipments and instruments are available to ensure training of each student. Adequate precautionary measures are taken to provide a safe and secure environment.

Fabrication Workshop This shop is equipped with sheering, bending, rolling, drilling and power press machines. Students learn the basic bench fitting and operations regarding metal works with the help of these advanced machines. Production Workshop This shop has the facility of lathe, drilling, milling, shaper and planner machines for introducing the basic concepts of mechanical technology. Students can perform practicals like slice facing, turning, drilling, boring, grinding, reaming, knurling, milling, gear cutting, shaping, etc. This shop also has a section of CNC which consists of CNC-Milling and CNC-Lathe, where students are given exposure to advanced industrial techniques for performing automotive mechanical work.

Welding Workshop This shop is equipped with Electric Arc welding, TIG welding, MIG welding and Spot welding, Gas welding and Plasma cutting machines where students gain familiarization with welding machine accessories and demonstrate welding of different materials. Students can perform practicals and understand welding joints and terms, selection criteria of electrodes and gain basic knowledge of Engineering Materials. Carpentry Workshop Carpentry Shop gives students a chance to learn the craft of wood work using the carpentry tools available here. HVAC Workshop HVAC shop is equipped with hand tools assortment for refrigeration and air conditioning services. This shop also includes basic components and refrigeration air conditioning system i.e. compressors, condensers, TXV and evaporators. Here students learn about basic measurement and tools assortment for HVAC service and can understand the basic mechanism and troubleshooting of refrigeration/air conditioning system.

Library Importance of an effective library cannot be over emphasized in a good quality institute. The SITT Library is spacious, well planned, and offers a peaceful environment. It houses books, magazines and journals covering every possible field of research. It is an invaluable resource of information for students and teachers alike. Internet facility is also available to allow students the opportunity to search the World Wide Web for required data.

Audio/Visual Room Audio Visual Room is equipped with advanced Training Aids and Visual pool. Recorded lectures, scientific demos and documentary films are displayed to the students for building basic concepts. Short training courses are also arranged here. It has a capacity of about 50 students.

6. Facilities at SITT SITT provides its students with a number of facilities apart from their education.

Financial Assistance All SITT students are given a monthly stipend according to current policy.

Health Services All basic first aid equipment is readily available and a dedicated team of doctors and staff are present to look after medical complaints of the students.

Canteen A spacious canteen and dining hall gives students a place to relax after a hectic routine. Students are also provided lunch, free of charge. Sports Arrangements for both indoor and outdoor sports are available for the students.

Girls Common Room As in any other institute, a separate common room is available for female students.

Accommodation Separate boarding and lodging facility is provided for male/female students who reside outside Karachi. Transport Pick and drop facility is provided to all students living in Karachi. The Institute also provides transport for Industrial/recreational visits.

7. Academic Programs In order to bring diversity and vigour in learning experiences, SITT has a two-fold strategy. At the outset, curriculum of core courses, offered by SBTE for Electronics and Mechanical trades are enriched with innovative and creative strategies. Classroom sessions are student centred with a focus on interactive teaching that include discussion, examining case studies and projects. Secondly, a variety of courses are also designed by SITT to enhance extra skills by providing a multi-track path and cross-disciplinary practice to learning. This system provides better learning opportunities. The available time is best utilized and concept of continuous grooming is followed. Modular System SITT follows Modular System in which an Academic Year is divided into 2 terms. This system supports regular learning and continuous assessment of the student throughout the term. Its evaluation system is better than other education systems and available time is best utilized. 1st Year Electronics Courses Applied Math After completing this course, students will be able to solve problems of Algebra, Trigonometry, vectors, Matrices and Determinants, develop skills, mathematical attitudes and logical perception in the use of mathematical instruments as required in the technological fields and acquire mathematical clarity and insight in the solution of technical problems. Electrical Essentials and Networks This course is designed so that the students will be able to learn basic knowledge of electricity and electronics, understand the operation and application of electrical and

electronic principles, devices and circuits. They will identify the different electrical and electronic components, devices and types of circuits, explain their principles of operation, use electrical/electronic components and devices in different circuits configurations, describe the ratings, tolerances, coding and troubles in different electrical and electronics components and circuits, calculate current, voltage, power and power factor using circuit laws and network theorems and use filters and coupling in electronics circuits. Electrical Drawing and General Engineering Helps students in understanding the basic methods of drawing. Lettering, Numbering, Conventional lines and dimensioning. This also includes Drawing symbols and simple circuits (Electrical and Electronics). Basic Wiring In this course students acquire the concepts of electrical wiring. After completing this course, individuals will be confident in switch board fitting, tube light fitting and fixation of other electrical home appliances. Technical English At the end of this course, the students will be equipped with cognitive skill to enable them to present facts in a systematic and logical manner to meet the language demands of dynamic field of research and development and industry for functional day-to-day use and will inculcate skills of reading, writing and comprehension. Applied Physics The students will be able to understand the fundamental principles and concept of physics, use these to solve problems in practical situations/technological courses and understand concepts to learn advance physics/technical courses. Printed Circuit Making and Radio Components The students work on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and fixation, soldering of components on PCBs and their trouble shooting.

Wood workshop Use of carpentry tools is demonstrated in this course and students practice on basic jobs related to woodwork. Computer Application After completion of this course the students will be able to describe micro-, mini-, mainframe- and super-computer, explain the function of CPU, input and output devices of a computer system , enlist, appropriate specification of a computer for a certain specific purpose, apply Disk operating system for a specific operation, design small programs in Basic language, use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and graphics software. Programming Languages Concepts of compiler, interpreters and introduction to programming languages are covered in this course. This course also covers C-Language. Concepts of Data Types used in C, simple calculation programs, loops used in C, Arrays, Files, etc are explained and programming assignments are given to the students. Basics of object oriented languages are also introduced in C++. PLC In this course, students will learn introduction to Programming Logic Control (PLC) devices and PLC programming at the initial level to understand the basics of control theory as well as the basic components that are used in hydraulics and pneumatics and their application and usage in industrial engineering processes. PCB Designing Software Students are introduced to the world of PCB designing by making contact with several advanced software such as PADS, OrCAD, Multisim etc. The course contents are designed to achieve the target that at the end of the introductive year a student would be well aware of PCB designing tools and layout configurations combined with schematic definitions and knowledge of terms like ROI etc in this context.

2nd Year Electronics Courses Applied Math After completing the course, students will be able to solve problems of Calculus and Analytic Geometry, develop mathematical skills, attitudes and logical perception in the use of mathematical instruments, apply principles of Differential Calculus to work out rate measures, velocity, acceleration, maxima and minima values, use Principles of Integral Calculus to compute areas and volumes and acquire proficiency in solving technological problems with mathematical clarity and insight. Measuring Instruments In this course, students will understand the working principle, types, and construction of different analog and digital instruments and their accessories and manipulate skills of proper selection, use, handling, maintaining and repairing of various electrical and electronic instruments. Electronic Devices and Circuits This course helps to apply the principles of operation and functions of various electronic components and devices to practical circuits. Amplifiers and Radio Receivers This course has been designed to enable the students to understand the working of Microphones and loud speakers, Audio frequency amplifier, Radio frequency amplifier and AM./FM radio receiver. Motors and Generators After studying the subject, students will be able to understand the construction, working and application of DC and AC machines. Business Communications The course has been designed to enable the students to develop communication skills,

understand basic principles of good and effective business writing in commercial and industrial fields and develop knowledge and skill to write technical report with confidence and accuracy. Applied Chemistry After studying this course a student will be able to understand the significance and role of chemistry in the development of modern technology and become acquainted with the basic principles of chemistry as applied in the study of relevant technology. Students will know the scientific methods for production, properties & use of materials of industrial and technological significance and will also gain skills for the efficient conduct of practicals in a Chemistry lab. Pulse and Digital Circuits After studying the subject, the student will be able to understand the wave generation, wave shaping and digital circuit, identify various types of wave shaping circuit, explain the principle of sine wave oscillator and working of multi-vibrators, explain the working of ramp and pulse generators, identify the function of delay lines, differentiate various types of logic gates, categories the combinational logic circuits, identify the principle of comparator circuit, and function of chopper circuit, explain the operation of memories, Identify the function of sampling and D/A and A/D conversion and identify the principle of sequential logic circuit. Business Management and Industrial Economics The students will be able to develop management skills, get acquainted with the principles of management and economic relations and develop commercial/economic approach to solve problems in an industrial set-up. Communication System-I The subject has been designed so that the student will be able to understand the working of telegraphy, telephony and wireless communication and will be able to identify the

necessity, types and application of codes in telegraphy and elements of telegraphy, explain the working of tele-printer, describe the principle and working of automatic telephone system, explain the principle of pulse modulation and frequency division multiplexing. PLC This course covers advanced PLC programming on ladder logic and students are assigned projects of control and automation side which will help them build up the innovating abilities and the way to implement them in an efficient manner. Also in the field of pneumatics and hydraulics students are experienced enough to work on controlling several mechanical processes using PLC programming. At the end of the year, students have to submit a project concerning the control of any process related to the above mentioned areas. PCB Designing using Software Designing from simple to complex schematics and achievement of high ROI on the PCB design is the goal that one would reach at the completion of the year. Here at this stage students will be able to integrate several designs with least analysis and simulation tools.

3rd Year Electronics Courses Industrial Management and Human Relations The study of this subject will enable the student to develop the management skills, acquaint him with the principles of management and human relations and develop psychological approach to solve the labor problems. Communication System - II After studying the course the student will be able to understand the principle, function and applications of A.M. and FM Transmitters, TV transmitters, Aviation and Marine Radio communication. TV Circuits and Systems Having gone through this subject the student will be able to understand the principle, operation, and application of Black and White TV, Color TV Receivers and TV Studio, identify the stages of back and white and color TV receiver, explain the operation of stages in Black and White and Color TV receivers and operation of equipment used in TV studio, use the equipment and apparatus for servicing TV receivers, troubleshooting of Black and White and Color TV receivers, replace the faulty components used in Black and White and Color TV receivers. Microprocessors and Microcomputers This subject has been designed so as to enable the student to understand analog computation, microprocessor architecture, programming and interfacing, microcomputer hardware, solve the 2nd order differential equation by using analog computer, identify the function of 8-bit microprocessor, program a Intel 8085 microprocessor using assembly and Machine language, debug programs, differentiate a 16 and 32 bit microprocessor, identify the function interfaces, explain the memory organization / stored program concept and identify the units of digital computer.

Industrial Electronics After studying the subject the student will be able to understand various industrial electronic circuits, control system and components, apply electronic devices for industrial control, describe the use of amplifier and oscillator in control circuits, identify the function of opto-electronic devices in control circuits and discuss the methods of H.F. Dielectric and microwave heating, discuss the function of paleface rectifiers and inverter, identify the function of various types of transducers, explain the generation and application of ultrasonic and the Principle of control system and explain the function of servomechanism. Antenna and Transmission Lines Having gone through this subject, the student will be able to understand characteristics of Transmission lines, Reflection in transmission lines, Impedance matching of transmission lines, use of Smith chart, Characteristics of antennas, Type of antennas, Broadcasting and Receiving antennas. Microwave and Radar After studying this subject, the student will be able to understand System of microwave communication, Principle of RADAR other navigational aids.

1st Year Mechanical Courses Applied Mathematics After completing the course the students will be able to solve problems of Algebra, Trigonometry, vectors, Matrices and Determinants, develop skill, mathematical attitudes and logical perception in the use of mathematical instruments as required in the technological fields and acquire mathematical clarity and insight in the solution of technical problems. Applied Chemistry After studying this course a student will be able to understand the significance and role of chemistry in the development of modern technology and become acquainted with the basic principles of chemistry as applied in the study of relevant technology. Student will know the scientific methods for production, properties & use of materials of industrial and technological significance and will also gain skills for the efficient conduct of practicals in a Chemistry lab. Workshop Practice The student will be familiarized with the Tools, Equipments, Machines used in the metal work, Welding and Forging, wood work and foundry. The student will achieve the basic skills in the above fields by preparing specific jobs in each part of the subject. Safety Practices and Procedures At the end of this course, the students will be able to adopt safety standards, Codes, Rules etc. to be desired in Mechanical Workshops/Industries. He/she will be able to understand methods of prevention, provide FIRST aid and RESCUE in the case of any accident. Technical English At the end of the course, the students will be equipped with cognitive skill to enable them to present facts in a systematic and logical manner to meet the language demands of

dynamic field of commerce and industry for functional day-to-day use and will inculcate skills of reading, writing and comprehension. Applied Physics Students will be able to understand the fundamental principles and concept of physics; they will use these to solve problems in their studies and practical situations. Basic Engineering Drawing and CAD At the end of this course the students will be able to understand the fundamentals of engineering drawing used in the various fields of industry specially in the Mechanical Technology. The student will be familiarized with the use of conventional drawing instruments as well as the modern technology used for this subject. The CAD portion of the subject will provide the student the knowledge and use of computer in the subject of Engineering Drawing. Introduction to Computer Applications This subject will enable the student to be familiar with basics of EDP, hardware components and the operation of a Micro-computer. 2nd Year Mechanical Courses Applied Math After completing the course the students will be able to solve problems of Calculus and Analytic Geometry, develop mathematical skill, attitudes and logical perception in the use of mathematical instruments, apply principles of Differential Calculus to work out rate measures, velocity, acceleration, maxima and minima values, use Principles of Integral Calculus to compute areas and volumes and acquire proficiency in solving technological problems with mathematical clarity and insight. Applied Electricity and Electronics This course enables the students to understand the fundamental of electricity, know the devices used for control of industrial equipments, their properties and uses. The course provide the knowledge of working principles and operation of A.C. and D.C. motors, transformers and generators, interpret connection diagrams of various electrical devices. Students will be able to observe safety rules and provide electric shock treatment. Metrology The subject is connected with the methods of measurements based on agreed International Standards and units. The practice in the subject requires the use of apparatus and equipment which include instruments necessary to adjust and permit the degree of accuracy required. Metallurgy This subject deals with the Metallurgy concepts that influence Mechanical and physical properties of Metals and Alloys. Industrial Management and Human Relations The study of this subject will enable the student to develop the management skill, acquaint him with the principles of management and human relations and develop psychological approach to solve the labor problems. Hydraulics and Hydraulic Machines At the end of the course the students will be able to understand properties of fluids, pressure and flow of fluids and also able to apply above to problems of total head of water, losses of heads, flow through orifices, impact of jets etc. The hydraulic machine portion of the course will provide the student the knowledge of water wheels, hydraulic turbines and pumps. Industrial Engineering At the end of this course the students will be able to understand the fundamentals of planning of the industrial concern, appreciate the methods generally employed in various categories of manufacturing operations for economic production. Applied Thermodynamics and Energy Conservation The students will learn Knowledge about temperature, heat, pressure, work, energy and power. The student will be able to understand laws of gases, Pie-diagrams of cycles, classification and working of internal combustion engines and steam engines, apply laws to cycles of operation of IC-Engines. The energy conservation portion of the course will provide the student the knowledge of energy conservation products and various energy management systems. Machine Design At the end of the course the student will acquire practice in analyzing stresses set-up in Machine parts and practice design of welded joints, pressure vessels, shafts, helical

Materials Testing and Heat Treatment After going through this course, student will be able to understand destructive and non-destructive test, working of testing equipment, know the basic Theories of heat Treatment processes and understand common heat treatment processes. PLC Visits to several process industries having installed PLCs separately as well as embedded are arranged so that the students have an idea that how does the device practically work out in industry and a final year project is also assigned herewith. 9. Admission Information Admission in the institute is offered during the month of July/August and classes for First Semester commence from November each year. Eligibility for Admission a) Students who have passed or expect to pass SSC (science) or equivalent examination

from any recognized Board/University with a minimum aggregate of 70% are eligible to apply.

b) Admissions will be offered on open merit. c) Applicant must be born between 20 August 1996 and 19 August 1998. d) Applicant must be medically fit and of single marital status. e) Applicant must be a Pakistani national (dual/foreign nationality is not allowed). f) Candidates who apply for admission would be required to undergo written test of

matriculation level for Maths, Physics, English, Chemistry and General Computer subjects as well as interview.

11. Rules & Regulations • Apprentices will not be considered as regular employees of SUPARCO till posting after successful completion of Three Year Apprenticeship Training. • Principal SITT has full authority to relax this policy as and when required. In case of any discrepancy, decision of Principal SITT will stand final.

a) Exams (i) If a student does not appear in scheduled exam of a course he will be awarded

grade ‘F’ in the course. (ii) Module with a grade ‘F’ is required to be repeated in supplementary exam. (iii) Supplementary Exams will be arranged at the end of an academic year

for apprentices having grade ‘F’ in maximum 3 courses of an academic year. (iv) Maximum three attempts are allowed to pass a course; final decision will

be taken by Principal SITT. (v) Attendance of less than 75% in a Term shall render an apprentice ineligible

to appear in the final exams and grade ‘F’ will be awarded to the student in each course of the term; final decision will be taken by Principal SITT.

(vi) Continued poor academic performance may result in either expulsion or ultimate induction of apprentice as Technical Worker (SPS-2) rather than Sub Engineer-II (SPS-4). Final decision will be taken by Principal SITT with approval of Chairman.

b) Relegation/Withdrawal/Dropout (i) Relegation

An apprentice will be relegated if awarded grade ‘F’ in 4 courses of an academic year. Final decision for relegation case will be taken by Principal SITT. The case will be forwarded to Chairman for approval.

(ii) Withdrawal/Dropout An apprentice can be expelled/withdrawn from Apprenticeship Training Program either on disciplinary ground or on the basis of his/her poor academic performance as follows:

a. If awarded grade ‘F’ in 5 courses of an academic year. b. If issued third written warning from Principal SITT on violating SITT discipline

rules or on low GPA. c. If awarded grade ‘F’ in 2 course of the academic year after relegation. d. If fails to clear a course after three attempts. e. If he/she takes admission to any other program and continues studies

other than Apprenticeship Training.

Final decision for withdrawal/dropout case will be taken by Principal SITT. The case will be forwarded to Chairman for approval.

(iii) Refund/Penalty

In case of withdrawal/dropout of the apprentice on any ground from Apprenticeship Training Program during the course of his/her studies at SITT, the actual amount spent till that time shall be refunded with penalty to SUPARCO. Penalty will be charged from the date of joining in accordance with the following schedule:

a. Withdrawal within a period of one year Rs. 25,000/- b. Withdrawal within a period of two years Rs. 50,000/- c. Withdrawal within a period of three years Rs. 100,000/-

c) Stipend (i) Monthly Stipend

Monthly stipend of Rs. 1,500/- will be given to all apprentices during first term. For subsequent term(s) the amount of stipend will be determined on the basis of Cumulative GPA.

(ii) Reduction in Monthly Stipend a. Stipend of an apprentice will be stopped for one year if he/she is relegated. b. In case of poor academic performance, the stipend of an apprentice will be

reduced for subsequent term(s) as per following criteria:

• CGPA: Above 3.25; Reduction = 0% • CGPA: Above 3.00 to 3.25; Reduction = 10% • CGPA: Above 2.75 to 3.00; Reduction = 25% • CGPA: Above 2.50 to 2.75; Reduction = 50% • CGPA: Below 2.50; Reduction = 75% to 100%

d) Terms & Conditions (i) The apprentice would strictly abide by the rules and regulations of SITT as

announced from time to time. (ii) The apprentice would be expected to display the highest standard of

discipline. Indulgence in any kind of misconduct or any unbecoming activity of an apprentice may result in his/her expulsion from the program and expenditures made thus far shall be recovered.

(iii) The apprentice will ensure that no information about the task and mission of SUPARCO will be discussed/leaked out at any time. Any breach of security

shall be viewed with great concern and strict disciplinary action will be taken against the individual.

(iv) The apprentice would take utmost care while corresponding with other institutions/organizations.

(v) The apprentice shall, in no case, enroll/register with any other board, university or institution for the award of certificate/diploma/degree during the period of his/her training at SITT.

(vi) If the apprentice is found guilty of being enrolled in any other institution, Board and/or University, SUPARCO has the right to approach the Institute, Board and/or University to stop/cancel such illegal enrolment and to take disciplinary action against apprentice.

After Successful Completion of Studies (DAE) at SITT:

Appointment as Sub-Engineer-II (SPS-4) (i) After the successful completion of DAE, the apprentice will be appointed in

SUPARCO as Sub-Engineer-II (SPS-4). (ii) The apprentice will have to serve SUPARCO for a minimum period of Five (5)

years after appointment as Sub-Engineer-II. (iii) In case the apprentice wishes to quit SUPARCO after DAE by tendering his/her

resignation then he/she shall have to refund the expenses actually incurred on him/her during his/her training at SITT on the following prorate basis.
