Illinois Chamber Music Festival Faculty Concert

June 23, 2010

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The second faculty concert of the Illinois Chamber Music Festival will be

Sunday, June 27 at 3 p.m. featuring Schumann’s Piano Quartet, deFossa’s Trio for Violin, Cello and

Guitar and Muczynski’s Sonata for Saxophone and Piano.

Free and open to the public, the concert will be held in Illinois Wesleyan’s Westbrook Auditorium of

Presser Hall (1210 Park St., Bloomington). Performers will include violinists Soon-Ik Lee and Mihai

Craioveanu, violist Lisa Nelson, cellists Nina Gordon and Adriana LaRosa Ransom, pianists Kent Cook

and Mark Clinton, guitarist Angelo Favis and saxophonist William West.

The performance is part of the Summer Series of 10 faculty and student concerts held June 24 through

July 11.
