Tsahi Shemesh – USA Director and

Chief Instructor Tsahi (Expert 1) trained with

hundreds of instructors from numerous countries and partook in the Law Enforcement Instructors Training, VIP Protection Instructors Training and Civilians Instructors Training. Tsahi teaches children in-house and at schools, adults, law enforcement personnel and police officers. Besides IKM’s ongoing full-time program, Tsahi and his team also lead various projects; Columbia University, Pace University, NYU, EMTs, NYPD’s police officers and contributory workshops to domestic violence organizations. Tsahi is also an Instructor's Trainer in Gabi Noah's official Instructor Course and conducts the Preparatory Instructors Course.

Carlos Gutierrez – IKM NY

Instructors Team

Carlos is a Gabi Noah International Krav Magacertified instructor. He graduated successfully the IKM Instructor’s Course 1 & 2 levels under the instruction of Gabi Noah (Master II) and received his G1 Level certification. Carlos has vast experience in Krav Maga and in the general fitness discipline.

Today Carlos is one of IKM NY”s leading and most dedicated instructors, and a cross-fit practitioner

John Gonzalez – IKM Youth Program

Instructor John has been working with kids

professionally for over twenty years. In 1994, he started fencing at the University of Texas under the tutelage of ex-Olympian Vinnie Bradford. He moved to New York in 1996 and trained with Polish fencing master Marek Wyszynski. He started coaching in 1998 and founded his own school, New Amsterdam Fencing Academy in 2002. In 2009 he added Krav Maga to his repertoire, training with Tsahi and, later, Gabi Noah. As a competitor and a coach, John has developed a keen sense of body mechanics. John also thoroughly enjoys working with kids and has a deep understanding of developmental stages and differences of learning style and motivation. John's experience helps him find the best balance between discipline and fun and between technique and theory. Despite his deep experience, he is always looking for ways to improve his teaching skills. He gratefully embraces opportunities to learn from the best teachers - his students.

Gil Woodbridge – IKM NY Instructors

service and two years as a

security coordinator Gil

started teaching full time as

a physical education

teacher and ran a Karate

school in Queens. In 2010,

Gil joined the International

Krav Maga of New York and

trained under Tsahi

Shemesh. He graduated in

2011 from the IKM

Instructor’s Course 1 & 2

levels under the instruction

of Gabi Noah.

Laurel Beversdorf – IKM NY

Instructors Team Laurel is a certified

Yoga Tune Up teacher, as well as a yoga teacher, teacher trainer and anatomy instructor for YogaWorks in New York City. Her teaching style expresses yoga, first and foremost, as a practical tool. With in-depth knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology, as well as vivid and direct instruction of the postures, Laurel's classes foster the body awareness needed to propel any athlete to the next level. Felix Conde – BJJ Expert Born and raised in the

Bronx, NY. 20 years of martial arts experience ranging from wing chunkung fu, vee arnis jitsu, muay thai kickboxing, catch wrestling, and MMA. Experience in amateur kickboxing, amateur mixed martial art, and pro full contact stick fighting bouts. Advanced competitor in NAGA and Grapplers Quest and an ADCC trial semi finalist. CPR/AED certified and certified personal trainer offering individual and group training sessions.

About IKM – International Krav Maga

IKM, International Krav Maga, is an Israeli-based

organization founded by Gabi Noah (Master II) in

2009. The IKM is active in more than 20 countries

worldwide and rapidly growing. IKM’s Team has vast

experience in teaching Krav Maga to different sectors

as civilians, law enforcement agencies, intervention

teams, anti-terrorist units, air marshals and VIP

security personnel. The IKM specializes in training

defensive tactics, hand-to-hand combat techniques,

self defense and fighting skills. The IKM provides

ongoing and in-service programs for the above

verticals and qualification, or the continuation of

training, of their in-house instructors. IKM NY’s branch
