INFOPACK #2

Page 2: IJBC 2015 – Infopack #2

Peanut Butter and Jelly, Bacon and Eggs, CISV and Nutella, IJBC and Global Conference… all these are things that are better when put together! For the first time ever, CISV will hold its Global Conference in conjunction with IJBC 2015. This is an exciting time for CISV, as hundreds of people from every CISV chapter across the globe will come together in Oslo, Norway, to work to improve our organization, get to know one another, and to grow as individuals within CISV.

What can Junior Branch offer to our organization? As the role of Junior Branch continues to grow and change within CISV International, this is a crucial time to Link together, Learn, and Look Ahead! We are excited that you will be joining us as we work on these three main focus areas during IJBC 2015.

Since IJBC will be held in parallel to the Global Conference, this is an excellent time to demonstrate the importance of Junior Branch and interact with all CISV volunteers. What will you bring back to your local chapter? Hopefully new ideas to implement, plenty of motivation, and plans to strengthen your Junior Branch – We look forward to meeting you in Oslo!

IJBC and Global Conference:Better Together!

Let’s plan to link together! We hope to not only build relationships between local JBs, but to also get to know one another on a personal level. One of our three goals at IJBC 2015 is to provide you with the opportunity to build crucial relationships with one another as we continue on in this exciting time of change within our organization. Let’s get our global movement moving!

Why is educational content so important in our organization? Let’s learn more about it. Our unique educational content is what sets us apart from other organizations, and should be a source of excitement and pride. 2015 is the year of Conflict and Resolution, and we will focus on this content area while also discussing the others. Let’s get some ideas of educational content-based activities to bring back to our chapters!

Where should Junior Branch go from here? Let’s think about the potential of our impact as the youth of our organization, and look ahead to the future. How can we grow and change our local chapters as well as International Junior Branch for the better? What should we know and understand about the JB Review? How can we work within our organization as a whole? Let’s continue working on our JB Review, and grow and learn from it.

This year again, all sessions will be shared through social media in order to share with all CISVers the content of IJBC (see next page for further information).

The theme for IJBC’s 2015 is...Link, Learn and Look Ahead.
