¡Move!

Diversity

(You)th

The theme of this year’s IJBC is You(th) ¡Move! Diversity.

!

We will put the focus on the immense power that we all have in our hands, no matter if we are acting as individuals, as a group, as members of Junior Branch or CISV. Individually, your unique traits give you the ability to better your surroundings in the way that best fits your skills. Collectively, a group of people can have a large impact on society. Just like Junior Branch contributes to the growth of CISV, youth groups and movements around the world contribute to the improvement of their societies. Can and does Junior Branch do the same? How so?

Youth participation and ownership is key in any society, which is why we will explore youth movements through history and ways in which we can all develop and improve our surroundings today. !International Junior Branch is moving and evolving, and CISV needs empowered individuals who are ready to act in our diverse and changing environment. How can we further integrate Junior Branch into CISV? !At IJBC, we will also explore innovative approaches to CISV’s content area for 2014 – Diversity – with hands-on educational activities. What will you be able to take home and apply in your local or national Junior Branch?
