ABOUT IIFT

International Institute of Fashion Technology was established in 1990 by

countrys leading fashion technologist Ratnadeep Lal who himself has a vastexperience in the field of fashion in India and also in Europe & America.

A graduate from prestigious fashion school of Europe London college of

fashion Mr. Lal having experience of over 28 years an educationalisthaving a sharp eye in the field of fashion technology has given IIFT in the

field of fashion education a prime position.

Now in IIFT we not only train Indian students but also students from Nepal,Bhutan, Bangladesh, Mauritius and other Africa countries.

IIFT besides dealing in fashion education also involve in consultancy

services aimed for manufacturers and exporters in Asia, Europe & Africa,and African sub continent. The consultancy work in Middle East Nepal &

Mauritius, U.K. & France is worth mentioning.

The projects for various govt, semi govt. and for multinational companies

are also undertaken from time to time.

The various international event involving bollywood, beauty contest, fashion

shows etc. are also organized by IIFT time to time.

Various projects for embassies of prominent countries like Switzerland,

France, Nepal, Egypt, Mauritius, and Middle East are also undertaken byIIFT.

Trained professionals of IIFT are working in almost all leading export house

& manufacturing concerns of India.

The creditability of IIFT is also can be seen through print media

where in over 20,000 articles have been published so far in leading

newspaper, magazines etc. in India & Abroad.

The success story of IIFT is spreaded now through its newly

established branches. Over 70 branches were established by IIFT

8.FASHION FORECASTING WINGFor dramatic & exports market IIFT do provide consultancy in fabric

trends, fashion trends and forecasting. This wing develops forecasting

for coming season styles and trends well in advance for exporters

and for domestic market. Special market attention is also paid while

doing the forecasting etc. On specific special request IIFT handles the

projects where in it deals in sample / range making on the basis of itsProduction / Forecasting for seasons specified by the buyers /

exporters.

9.DESIGNERS CATALOGUEEach year IIFT makes its own designers catalogue as well which is

generally provided to all exporters and buyers etc.

Many seminars for exporters, designers, artists etc. are organized from

time to time by IIFT. International conferences participation and

organized more than 300 fashion shows during the last 19TH

years.

Career exhibitions, designers exhibitions are also organized for schools /

garments of traditional & western wear designed by the R&D department

of IIFT & upcoming designers. This boutique has outlets in Middle East,

UK, France & in Mauritius. The collections of students are alsodisplayed in collection.
