About this Conference
KeyTakeaways
Who should attend?
Why you should not miss this Conference?
The not too distant future of internal auditing predicts a technology driven revolution
that will bring about a dramatic and unavoidable change the way in which internal
auditors think, plan and perform. Traditional assurance projects will be replaced by a
combination of technology driven continuous auditing & monitoring along with rapid
response audits of risk hot spots never seen before. A totally different business
environment with business models based on disruptive technologies and a risk scenario
never encountered till now is going to make this journey more and more difficult and
challenging.
The use of technology by internal audit continues to expand, as organizations have
continued to embrace the possibilities that technology affords them to conduct business
and thrive in today’s society. But has internal audit’s acceptance of technology kept pace
with those organizations or lagged behind?
The IIA 2015 Global Internal Audit Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) Practitioner
Survey shines new light on the use of technology by internal audit and the related skills
that internal auditors need to acquire if they have to be relevant in the emerging business
scenario. Staying relevant would mean the internal audit ability to address emerging
issues of importance to management.
This two day national conference provides a forum to generate new thinking and a new
vision on how internal auditors can stay ahead and stay relevant. The Conference provides
participants with a wide range of discussion topics under three parallel tracks with a range
of six technical sessions under each track covering Emerging Internal Audit Practices,
Forensics and Fraud Management and the role of internal audit in assisting Risk
Management with Rapid Risk Response solutions. Eminent speakers from India and
abroad are expected to address the delegates. In addition honored guests from IIA Global
Headquarters in Florida USA are also expected to participate.
This Conference would be particularly useful to Risk Management and Internal Audit
Professionals, IS Audit professionals, CEOs CAEs CFOs Chief Risk Officers Heads of ERM
practicing Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, Company Secretaries and
Management Consultants.
The futuristic topics planned under three parallel tracks within the broad umbrella of how
an internal auditor can stay ahead and stay relevant in the emerging business scenario
provides a lot of learning opportunity to delegates .This Conference is expected to provide
a rare and unique opportunity to network with international delegates and speakers.
