BLOOD DRIVE Wednesday, May 11 The Social Justice Committee is hosting a mobile blood drive on Wednesday,
May 11, 3:00-8:00 p.m. The Red Cross bloodmobile will be parked in the upper

give.
Red Cross begins contacting donors 8 weeks after previous donations. Please
keep in mind that if you wish to participate in our May drive, donating at
another site after March 16 will disqualify you.
MAKER AND MASTER Saturday, May 7 IHM musicians Michael Mullink and Mi-
chael Vrazel present Maker and Master, a
concert benefitting Ezekiel House. They will
perform here at IHM on Saturday, May 7, at
7:30 p.m.
A free-will offering will be taken at the
door. CD’s will also be available at the
concert for $10.
One hundred percent of the offering and the
sale of CDs goes directly to the Ezekiel
House Mission.

Eyewitness Account of the Death Penalty in

She is known for sparking dialogue on the
death penalty, and travels around the world to
give talks about her ministry.

cational Leadership (Ed.S.) from Georgia
College and State University. She has taught
in both general and special education class-

VBS is returning to IHM! This summer’s program is “A Radical Ride on the Wings of Prayer…with Amazing Angels and Super Saints.” VBS is open to all children who will be entering Pre-K through 5th grade in the fall. Coming this fall to IHM! After broad consultation with teens, parents, staff and the parish Pastoral Council, we will inaugurate the Life Teen high school youth ministry and The EDGE mid-dle school youth ministry at IHM this fall! Life Teen and The EDGE will gather on Sunday evenings at 6:15, immediately following the 5:00 p.m. Mass. (Pizza will available for the hungry!) At the same hour, there will be a GIFT session for grades K-5, especially to accommodate families who have students in more than one age group. A Sunday morning GIFT session will also be available for grades K-5 only, 10:15-11:15 a.m. Enrollment for next year’s Faith Formation programs has begun and will remain open throughout the summer. Enroll before June 30 to receive an early enrollment discount. Forms will be available at weekend GIFT classes and in the parish of-fice. As of this year, we will also be able to accept all enrollment and payment information online at www.ihmatlanta.org.

SONFEST BEACH CONFERENCE 2016 June 6-10
Sonfest is a five day beach conference consisting of energetic
sessions, praise and worship, daily beach activities and plenty of
sunshine! Take a break from the craziness of school and join us
for a great time at the beach with God and youth from the Arch-
diocese of Atlanta. This is one week at the beach you don’t
want to miss!

El sábado, 7 de mayo tendremos un
torneo de futbol para todos los jóvenes
en los grados 8-12. El torneo es de 5
contra 5, también es mixto de hombres
y mujeres—deben de tener por lo
menos UNA jugadora en su equipo. El
costo es $10 por participante; cada
equipo debe tener mínimo 5 jugadores
y no más de 8. El total se debe pagar al
llegar el día del torneo. El último día
para registrar a su equipo es el 15 de
abril.

La Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones en IHM será patrocinada por el Club de Señoras de la parroquia. La segunda colecta de esta fin de semana será dedicada a el Periódico Católico
(Georgia Bulletin).
La próxima semana realizaremos el Llamado
para las Misiones Católicas. Una manera en
que este llamado funciona para fortalecer a
las diócesis misioneras en Estados Unidos es
otorgando fondos para la formación de
seminaristas en las diócesis pobres. La
bendición de los seminaristas pone una carga
financiera en estas diócesis en donde la
educación de cada seminarista cuesta entre $35 a 40 mil dólares al año. Su apoyo es
necesario para que estos jóvenes puedan regresar y servir en sus parroquias. Por
favor, fortalezca la Iglesia en casa dando una generosa donación al llamado de la
próxima semana.
