ORDER

As per the Government Orders read as 1st and 2nd above, Government have implemented UGC 6th scheme in the State. The Career Advancement Scheme (CAS), that is, Placement and Promotion of teachers have effect from 18/09/2010. As per the 6th UGC Regulation, Performance Based Assessment System (PBAS) has been introduced for Placement/Promotion of teachers.

Vide the Notification read as 3 above, the UGC ih Regulation came into force, in which, UGC has liberalized the API score based Performance Based Appraisal System for pending Placement/Promotion of UGC 6th scheme due since 18.09.2010. Subsequently Govt. of Kerala vide G.O.(Ms.) No.28/2019/H.Edn dated 11 /2/2019 has given sanction for implementing the placement/ promotion of teachers of Govt. Colleges pending for 6th UGC Scheme as per the UGC ih scheme Regulation.

As per the provisions in UGC 6th & ih regulations, the claims for CAS (Assistant Professor Stage 2 and stage 3) has to be approved by the Screening cum evaluation committee constituted at the Colleges concerned.

As per the letters read as 6 above, the Principals of Govt. Colleges have submitted the proposals for placement as Assistant Professor Stage 2 in respect of the teachers(38 No.) mentioned below, with recommendation of the Screening Committee constituted at the Colleges.

In these circumstances, the placement as Assistant Professor Stage 2 in respect of the teachers of Govt. Colleges is granted as given in Annexure to this Order.

The placement granted as per this Order is subject to the following conditions.

i)This Order is subject to verification of the Accountant General Kerala concerned for issuing pay slips.

ii) If any amount drawn by the incumbent by this Order is found to be in excess due to mistake or any other reason, noticed later, he/she would be liable to refund the amount so received in lump unconditionally.

iii) The incumbent should submit his/her option and declaration for the fixation of pay within three months of this Order to the Accountant General concerned.

This Order is made available in the Department website (www.collegiateedu.gov.in).Copy may be downloaded and used for all official purposes. No hard copies will be issued separately.
