PwC’s start-upacceleratorprogramme
Are you a tech company withbig ambitions?
Ignite is PwC’s exciting new accelerator programme. We're looking for five of NI's most dynamic tech companiesto help improve their performance, ignite their markets andaccelerate their growth. Could you be one of them?
What is Ignite?
Who should apply? How to apply
How does it work?
Northern Ireland has one of the fastest growing knowledge
economies in the UK. But despite its growth, the relative size
of Northern Ireland's knowledge economy continues to lag
behind other parts of the UK and is only ranked 10th out of
12 UK regions.
Ignite plans to help close the gap by helping to accelerating
the growth of five special technology businesses. First, we
want to find them, and then we'll share our expertise, advice
and global networks to help them grow faster, sell further
and perform better.
Download the application form at pwc.co.uk/ignite.
Complete and return along with a video clip (just use your
smartphone - no longer than 2 minutes) which highlights
'why us' to [email protected] by 31 May 2015.
This is a competitive programme. Once applications are
received a selection panel, including industry experts, will
shortlist applicants. If you are successful, you will be asked
to make a presentation to the panel after which the five
successful businesses will be told, “Welcome to Ignite.”
PwC will work closely with each selected business to identify
the development areas which are critical to the growth of the
business and agree a programme of actions.
Each business will have a PwC mentor to work with the
business over a 12 month period to create and implement
an action plan. Our mentors are experienced business advisers
who understand the challenges facing technology start-up
businesses; from raising finance, identifying and entering
new markets and building effective management teams,
to exploiting tax incentives and R&D and tax credits.
• A tailored 12 month mentoring with a business adviser
• Access to the PwC global network
• Enhanced publicity throughout the programme
• Opportunity to collaborate with similar ambitious
businesses
If you are a technology business with the following essential
qualities, we want to hear from you:
•
• A strong product/service offering with proof of concept
• Clearly identified export and international market
opportunity
• Management and shareholder commitment to growth
• Must be majority owned and headquartered in
Northern Ireland
