IFM: A Framework for the Future9.30am to 4.30pm, Thursday 19th May 2016

Where: The Dairy, Waddesdon Manor, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire HP18 0JW

The world’s food systems are facing unprecedented challenges and the need to produce more food, sustainably has never been more evident. Integrated Farm Management offers the framework to deliver a sustainable food system. In order to do this, however, the practices and developments within IFM must continue to evolve and improve. This one-day conference will examine the development of IFM, consider its strengths (as well as weaknesses) and crucially, as LEAF embarks on its next 25 years, its role in addressing future challenges.

Speakers from our LEAF Innovation Centres will provide a taster of the innovative areas of research and development within each section of IFM. Following this, we will hear from LEAF Demonstration Farmers who are working with IFM at the sharp end, to tell us how some of these innovations are working in practice.
