• SOAP for communication - Required a robust way of the transmission of computer

status data between the client and the MYSQL database. A SOAP based web service allowed us to have full control over how that data was dealt with.

- Decided to use nuSOAP, a PHP based soap provider script which allowed native communication between two different programming languages.

From an average machine submitting RAM data every 3 minutes, would call our web service4320 times a day.
