Dewan Architects + Engineers has been

at the forefront of the Middle East‘s

booming architectural and engineering

design sector for almost three decades.

Its founder and current Chairman and

Managing Director, Mohamed Al Assam

established the inaugural Dewan office in

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in 1984

and successfully completed Dewan‘s first

high-rise commercial project, Baniyas

Tower, in 1988, which cemented Dewan

Architects + Engineers presence as a

major player in the regional architectural

scene. In 1999, Dewan‘s Dubai design

studio was established, and it

The 55km rail link will connect Dakar city centre with the future Blaise-Diagne International Airport (AIBD) in 45 min journey, with trains running every 15 minutes. The line will have 14 suburban stations, with two new stations at Diamniadio and Blaise-Diagne Airport. Technical system integration includes the railway signalling systems for train control and safety management of the switching system. The train and power rail power supply stations, the online telecommunications systems in the 14 stations and the maintenance centres: passenger safety with CCTV monitoring, passenger Wi-Fi connection on board the train and in the stations, the GSM-R system (rail telecommunications network), fire detection, real-time passenger information on the platforms and on board the trains and a comprehensive ticket system.
