IELTS has two modules namely- Academic Module and General Training
Module.
It is imperative to take IELTS Academic Module i one is to enrol in
universities and other institutions o higher education.

educational and training situations.
(eading! This module comprise o " long reading passages which mayrange rom descriptive and actual passages to discursive and analytical
passages. Every passage is ollowed 0y variety o uestion types. It may
also include non ver0al materials such as diagrams graphs or
illustrations.
*riting! The *riting section has / tasks 0oth o which must 0e
attempted. In task % the test taker is to summarise a graph ta0le chart
or diagram etc. in at least %1# words. In task / an essay prompt is
provided and the test taker has to discuss a point o view argument or
varia0le in at least /1# words.
Speaking! The speaking test is a ace to ace interview 0etween the test
taker and an e&aminer. It consists o " tasks- introduction ad interview
$short uestions' speaking at length a0out a amiliar topic and a
structured discussion.
