BACKGROUND

• Tencon series has been running for 27 Years,

• Tencon has generally been broad based covering all the main disciplines of EE and related areas,

• Tencon Spring (Tencon II) aims to complement Tencon I, to be more thematic.

CALL FOR PROPOSAL

• Tencon Spring (Tencon II) is now open for bidding,

• Proposal shall provide the following information: – Venue and city,– Theme of Conference,– Dates, – Other relevant information.

FOCUS• Shall be thematic, with one main

focus area, but may have multi-disciplinary underpinning,

• Some examples - Green, Humanitarian Technology, Social Networks, etc.

INFORMATION NEEDED

• Venue (hotel, universities, convention centre)-- rates, rating, availability, etc.

• Fees structure,• International accessibility,• Straw budget,• Local organizational structure,• Preliminary technical schedule.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION• Photos of city and venue,• Information and photos on other

attractions in and around the location,

• Support from government, industry, or other organization.
