It seemed only natural to take the proven 4X frame and develop a version for BMX…and so… 2012 will see Identiti offer the NEW “Krisis MX”

Also, after a season of testing in the 2011 Halo British Downhill Series, 2012 will also see Identiti release the “Mogul” DH frame.

The P66 is built around the same 100% TAF Cro-Moly frame that the Identiti Pro’s (such as Danny Pace and Daryl Brown ride).

Mogul DHDeveloped for the typical UK courses, this frame with it’s top of the tree Vivid R2C shock provides 7.5” of plush travel.

Ridden, raced and approved during 2011 on the Halo British Downhill Series (as well as Morzine) by Team Identiti riders Pat Campbell-Jenner, Matt Jones and Tom Knight. With their invaluable feedback we have made a few adjustments and the Identiti Mogul DH frame is now ready to go into production for 2012.

We’ve used some of the stuff we’ve learnt over the years to provide a strong but not excessively heavy frame that can handle today’s progressive riding.

We’ve tweaked the classic fixie frame geometry to provide a little more space up front and a sloping top tube.to allow more room and manoeuvrability. A downtube box gusset adds additional strength where it is needed most.

The Persona also features unique Taper-Lock CNC dropouts keep your chain tight without the need for chain tugs and is in keeping with the frames’ minimalist clean looks.With the Taperlock system, your wheel can never pull forwards under pedal torque.

What is “Taper Lock”Put very simply, the dropouts have a 1.5 degree tapered thickness, and special washers also have a matching 1.5 degree taper to keep parallel faces.Effectively, if the axle were to try to pull forwards.. the washer and the dropout act together to become thicker, so effectively tightening the axle nuts;- hence nothing slips forwards.

4X race and lightweight trails.

Rated by many riders around the globe as one of the finest 4X frames.At 5.6lbs, the Dr continues to deliver the immense strength required to cope with 4X racing and trails use and yet is light enough to give blistering performance.

A light, rigid and strong 7000 series Aluminium frame. Using the right types of tubing and gussets in the important places, Identiti have evolved a stylish and brutally efficient Race/Trail frame that has outstanding versatility IDENTITI DR JEKYLL FRAME. It can be run with discs or Vs, 24” or 26” wheels, Derailleur gears, hub gears or Single Speed… all possible, in any combination.

Identiti have made a few tweaks, but in all honesty, it is hard to better the existing 2001/2 design, and as MBUK magazine noted when reviewing the recently added 2002 XL version in June “it wasn’t broken, so why fix-it”… (it scored 5/5 – top marks).

Carefully honed geometry and a gradual evolution of the best features from all of the previous Identiti 4X frames, the Dr Jekyll remains a great choice for 4X and Trails riding.

“A decade later - and still great...”

BMX influenced lightweight and strong forks for Freestyle Fixed Gear bikes.Identiti are already trusted the World over in the hardtail 4X and Jump bike markets and have the knowledge and ability to produce performance frames and forks for this evolving market sector.

Most forks currently available for Fixie use were designed as “Road” products, and will fail under harder street use. We could have just gone out and made a bulky looking long BMX fork. or taken a standard type road fork and added some weight, but, we don’t think that would be good enough, so we designed the FFX forks:

FFX forks are an evolved variant of our tried and trusted Rebate jump forks.A carefully thought out combination of strength, weight, tyre clearance and style.Probably the highest quality specification Fixie forks available:

Lightweight butted and heat treated 20/20 Cro-Mo tubing.Internally and externally machined steerer.(offers optimised strength and weight, without the stress rising areas that changes in diameter over short distances can cause.)Tapered 28.6 to 20mm legs - giving slender looks with massive strength.Large weld area - providing increases strength.Height 393mm A to C :-keeping as close as possible to classic Road geometry, but about as tight as you can go... with a 38C tyre and enough clearance for wheel flex. plus, of course, a decent strong weld area.

Rebate 1420 forks.

The Task:To provide a version of the Identiti Rebate Jump fork for those riders with an existing 20mm T-axle front hub set-up.

We figure the reason to have a 20mm T-axle set-up is to help tie the 2 wobbly ends of asuspension fork together (which, apparently, they do quite well).HOWEVER… the Rebate doesn’t go up and down and therefore doesn’t need any morelower leg rigidity than a conventional QR hub will give… because - erh - it’s a flamin’RIGID FORK to start with ! So… do we need all manner of heavy dropouts together with fiddly and farty bolts onto the 20mm T-axle that make the fork heavy and make wheel removal a pain? …well, we don’t think so…Plus, wouldn’t it be handy if the finished fork and axle set-up could accept BMX pegs – if you want ?

Hence… the Rebate 1420 is supplied with a 20/14mm axle convertion system,and lightweight CNC relieved 14mm BMX style dropouts.This means that the REBATE 1420 will accept your regular 20mm T-axle hub and finishes with straight forward, nice and easy to use BMX style 14mm threaded axle and nuts.

An I.S, disc mount is welded on in case you need that disc brake, and of course, you can also retro-fit the Identiti V-adaptor brake pivots at 24 or 26” if you want.Premium 4130 Cr-mo Deep drop steerer crown allows shallow bend radius legs and large weld area for increased strength. “Maz ADS” (used on P60 & P66 frames)Our designer Maz wanted an ADS that was cleaner to look at… and so set about developing the MAZ ADS…Ideal those looking for the key features of our original ADS – but with ultra-clean styling.(Note: Maz ADS is slightly more limited in it’s use options, and is not cross compatible with original ADS, however, it does look great, has the key feature of adjustable axle position and disc mounts, and is also peg compatible.)
