Project requirements: A complex customer care web solution,

Project description: Building Bazar solution from scratch, Tremend

helped ING turn its ambitious ideas into a highly scalable Card-Linked

Loyalty solution and a secure Mobile Payment platform. From a

technological perspective, the highly available filtering engine based on

ElasticSearch became an important tool within the bank’s ecosystem, a

tool that’s being adopted in other internal solutions and departments.

Project description: Forecasting 7 days in advance and using real

time temperature, wind and rainfall data, the RainMachine Smart

solution dramatically reduces water waste.

Solution: The solution consists of four mobile applications, cloud

connectivity to IoT products, two brand new next generation

devices, as well as a completely refreshed firmware for their first

generation of the forecast sprinklers.

Technologies: we contributed to every layer in the stack: Android

and Linux Kernel driver development, hardware consulting, device

firmware (C++ and Python applications), server (Node.js on Amazon

Cloud), applications (iOS, Android and Web - Sencha Touch).

Project description: The Active Sideguard™ is an innovative

accident avoidance device for heavy trucks that uses electrostatic

sensors technology.

Solution: Bringing their expertise in automotive safety software

and embedded software development, Tremend team members

helped this ambitious startup prototype from scratch The Active

Sideguard™, a safety-critical automotive product that significantly

reduces blind spot accidents.

Technologies: Microchip PIC18 based sensor, PIC24F based

dashboard controller, Windows control application.

Result: With robustness in regard to mechanical damage, and

immunity to atmospheric disturbances, the devices are now

available on the market as a cost effective stand-alone solution for

Developers have access to the latest hardware. Our

renewal policy involves workstation upgrades every

couple of years. Two or three monitors are made

available per workstation.

Developer workstations typically have i7 CPUs, 16GB

RAM, 256GB SSD. Internal network is Gigabit, external

connection is 100M.

Internet connectivity in Romania is well known as being

ManagementOur motivation

Company was founded in 2005 by two very experienced

technical leaders in their field: Ioan Cocan and Marius

Hanganu. A former participant to informatics olympiad and

currently teaching compiler design at the Computer Science

Polytechnic University in Bucharest, Bogdan Nitulescu

joined later.

Strong believers in the concept of profit sharing, Tremend

invited its principal technical lead, Petrica Martinescu, to join

as a partner in 2013.

With 20 years of experience in the IT field, Simona Sunel runs

the HR department, while Petru Teodorescu, an experienced

marketing specialist and entrepreneur, runs the business

development department.

improvement for technical excellence, goal minded

collaboration, client/results orientation and being part of a cool

and fun team.

Active learning. As a company priority, we proud

ourselves with one of the most advanced learning

in hackathons, mentoring others and other team

engagement activities.

With investments of close to 100.000 EUR in our
