From The Administrator
Summer is definitely here and the Wilber Care Center is preparing to celebrate withtheir annual community 4th of July party. The party is joined by residents and about300-400 community members. This is a true community effort. We receive help from
the Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club, the Girl Scouts, the Legion Club, theCheerleaders, the Fire Department and of course the Care Center staff. This is a great
evening enjoyed by staff, community and families. We loob forward to this event everyyear and appreciate the community support. The event includes a picnic, fireworks, alive band, bingo, face painting, clown, sandbox, uolleyball, tour of the fire truch and
ambulance, cabe walb and libely some things I have forgotten.
The Wilber Care Center staff has also been busy preparing for stale survey. We do thatwith inservices, moch survey and over all taking a close loob at things we do every dayto make sure we meet the federal and state guidelines. If they don't, we worh to attainthat goal. One of the main focuses of federal and state guidelines is allowing residentsto have as much individual choice in their daily life as possible. We worh on that on a
daily basis.
