• Ongoing ~ Indexing approvals, keeping track of journal issues indexing, social media monitoring, Web editing

• April 2012 ~ Quote for online chat feature requested; $750; idea dropped for now

• Search tip lines inserted above the search boxes;Enclose phrases "in quotation marks“; link to search tips page made

• 17/4/12 ~ CLC conference call ~ library directors, ICL and CLC officers

• Directors approved funding for ICL!• AT‐V and PH had first conference call with programmers to discuss details of ICL features

• May 2012 ~ AT‐V provided screen shots of My NCBI to programmers and made suggestions for adapting this to My ICL; many e‐mails between the Editors and the programmers followed

• Chiropractic Journal of Australia announced changes in its delivery; ICL Editors negotiated PDF versions for our indexer

• The McCoy Press journals suddenly changed their URLs; AT‐V spent many hours changing URLs in ICL

• June 2012 ~ Programming for ICL put on hold; ICL was hacked!

• ICL restored from a backup, requiring over 80 hours of programming, for which we were not charged

• July 2012 ~ ICL hacked again, site went down; all admin userids and passwords were changed; ICL restored within 24 hours

• However, a number of features took more time to restore (contact form, social media feeds, abstract display, e‐mailing records …)

Database & Web Site Updates cont’d• By July 4, most problems were fixed; problems continued for 2 weeks, including no access by NYCC; BoomerCo Inc. did not charge for this extensive fix

• Site upgraded to WordPress v3.4.1, more secure• August 2012 ~ ICL Editors requested an update on the programming for the My ICL project

• Clinical Chiropractic announced it will be discontinued but electronic issues will remain on the ScienceDirect site

• Journal of Scoliosis Rehabilitation, a new McCoy (OA) journal was announced (to date, only an editorial has been published)

Database & Web Site Updates cont’d• September 2012 ~ Programmers asked ICL editors to resume testing on My ICL

• Editors requested a popup box to remind users to sign in to ICL

• October 2012 ~ Editors asked the indexers and indexing committee to test My ICL

• Feedback resulted in revisions and My ICL went live on October 6; on October 10, we put announcements on the chirolib‐l listserv and on all our social media

• Feedback from users resulted in more revisions; My ICL was working beautifully!

Database & Web Site Updates cont’d• November 2012 ~ ICL was hacked again; fixed quickly• December 2012 ~ Editors reported a problem with combining search statements; fixed the same day

• Indexers reported that the action buttons in the search form were faded and difficult to read; problem was fixed right away

• January 2013 ~ chiroindex.org secured for future (invoice not paid as of March 8)

• March 2013 ~ Extensive editing and upgrading of Web site was done by AT‐V; new pages created; Site Meter coding was restored to all pages (it was removed during the upgrade); Editors prepared the annual report for ACC/RAC

• Hacked Contact Us form was restored• Search tips moved back to home page; sitemap moved to home page, to highlight the extensive resources
