Suggestion and Proposal

 

 

Project description

After the site is chosen which is discussed by all of the group members, I

propose to develop an area that serves as a combination of agriculture and

commercial. It is a small farm will a store. Selling potted plants, organic products,

trees and so on.

This place consist of a small farm, a garden, a shop and a store room. The

commercial area is the shop located in front while the agricultural area is located

behind the shop which is use to plant organic plants. A small garden is located

next to the shop to plant some potted plants for sale. Lastly, there are plenty of

parking spaces located in front of the shop to avoid traffic problem occur in the

place.

 

Project concept

 

Store room located beside the

shop, it is used for the storage

of tools, accessories and extra

inventories. Every item has to

be kept nicely and organized so

that it won't look messy. Items

are organized and easy to

search for what workers wanted.

Inside the shop will be arranged

according to the layout showed

in the image. Each type of items

are sorted accordingly, this

helps the customer to find what

they are searching for easily.

A small garden that located next to the shop is use to

plant some potted plant. These potted plant are mostly for the

residents to get to decorate their garden or outdoor spaces.

The organic plants will be planted like the image shown above.

It is arranged accordingly and it's convenience for planting,

watering , loosening the soil and harvesting to be done.

Slanted parking lots are located in front of the shop for the

visitors.

The Rationale

The reason why I propose a mixture of both agriculture and commercial is

because I have study about the contextual plan in the area. There aren't any

shop selling organic products in this area. Therefore by proposing this will be

convenience for the residents.

To give a  better and healthier live style for the residents living in this area,

an organic farm is proposed as a project to be developed. This place is selling

some organic products, vegetables, potted plants for decorations in the house's

landscape for the residents.

 

Benefits Proposing this project benefits the residents such that they are able to buy

organic products easily at nearby residential area. Without using a vehicle, they

can walk to the shop to pay a visit as this shop is just surrounded by residential

areas.

Due to the planting will be done on this land, the environment will be

maintained. The air quality at this area will become better.

• Supervises the workers all the time

3. Flood may occur

Outcome

• Land erosion will happen

• Plants are rotted and decrease in productions will influence the business

of the shop.
