Snowmobile Tour 7 Daysin NORTH ICELANDImagine showing up at the creation of the Earth, no trees, no wild animals save for the odd fox, varieties of water birds and predatory birds such as owls, hawks and ravens. This is a country of stark contrasts and raw nature.

A volcanic island on the edge of the Arctic, where in a day you can see geysers, volcanoes, glaciers, turbu- lent glacial rivers and tranquil lagoons. Drink pure cold delicious water from a mountain brook and bathe in geothermal hot springs.

Everything around you is a reminder that this is the land of spectacular but savage natural elements that are at the same time creative and devastating.

There is nothing like snowmobiling in Iceland. Breathtaking is a word most often used by snowmobilers as they sit on a snow-covered knoll, shadowed by the mountains in the Troll Peninsula in Northern Iceland, watching the northern lights dance across the winter sky or riding in the mild temperature in the spring and the continual daylight of the Arctic sun.

The view is unmatched, the experience unforgettable. The land of fire and ice rewards those who brave the elements with an experience like no other.

For a one of a kind, complete Quad and ATV experience, spend your time riding off the beaten paths in the outback areas of Reykja-vik and experience amazing panoramic views over the entire city and bay area from the peaks of mountains Hafrafell & Úlfarsfell.

As the name suggests, Twin Peaks is an ex-tended version of the popular Mountain Safari tour that has an extra mountain top added into the mix. This tour is a little more technical and offers a more complete ATV and Quad experi-ence, combining mountain tracks, gravel roads, rocky paths, and steep climbs.

The Twin Peaks adventure begins at the base camp with a calm ride on a gravel road along the shore of the scenic Lake Hafravatn, before heading up a mountain trail to the very top of Hafrafell. Standing at the top of the mountain gives you amazing vies of the Reykjavik area and the surrounding mountain range. This first leg of the trip takes about an hour, and typically gives riders more confidence so that they can safely head over to Mountain Úlfarsfell, where the views over Reykjavik, the Reykjanes Peninsula, and the bay area are second to none.
