Visit Sderot, an Israeli town on the border to Gaza to get an understanding of some of the challenges and triumphs faced by local residents over the past 14 years of intermittent rocket attacks from Gaza. Be'er Sheva, the capital of the Negev Desert, has a history going back all the way to Abraham. A visit to Biblical Tel Beer Sheva. The site contains the ruins of a walled city from the Israelite monarchic period. Due to the mean- ingful archeological finds there, the site is under UNESCO protec- tion. Dinner and overnight in the Negev. DAY 3: Friday, 6 October ICEJ FEAST OF TABERNACLES (SUKKOT II) Visit the Australian Soldier Park that is dedicated to the memory of the Light Horse regiments, that captured the town from the Ottoman Empire during World War I. Visit the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, established after the conquest of Beer Sheva in 1917. There are 1,239 soldiers buried there, among them member of the ANZAC troops, including 173 Australians and 31 New Zealanders. Visit to Masada, situated on the top of a mountain overlooking the desert panorama to the west and the Dead Sea to the east. The thrilling story of the site reveals the courage of the Jewish defenders of Masada and their battle against the conquering Romans. DAY 2: Thursday, 5 October(SUKKOT I)

Arrival on Ben Gurion Airport. Visit Sderot, an Israeli town on the border to Gaza to get an understanding of some of the challenges and triumphs faced by local residents over the past 14 years of intermittent rocket attacks from Gaza. Be'er Sheva, the capital of the Negev Desert, has a history going back all the way to Abraham. A visit to Biblical Tel Beer Sheva. [09:00-12:00] Prayer meetingVisit the Friends of Zion Heritage Museum – Explore the History of People who were standing in the gap for the People. "And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city" (Ezekiel 11:23). Drive to the tip of the Mount of Olives, known as the site from where Jesus ascended to heaven after his resurrection. Panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives. Visit the Commonwealth Cemetery on Mount Scopus, where many soldiers fell in World War 1 are buried. Drive through the Jordan Valley. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee.

DAY 9: Thursday, 12 October(SIMCHAT TORAH)

Visit a Kibbutz, a collectively organized agricultural settlement, in the upper Galilee. Meet a Kibbutznik who will tell about life along the Lebanese border, some kilometers away from the area where Hezbollah, a militant Islamic movement, is in power. Meet Israeli soldiers, young guys that are responsible for Israel’s safety on Israel’s northern border with Lebanon. An on-site briefing regard-ing Israel’s security challenges concerning the Iranian supported Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon. Visit to Banias, the site of ancient Caesarea Philippi on the feet of Mount Hermon, where Jesus asked his disciples who people were saying he was (Matthew 16:13). Drive through some Druze Villages on the way to the panoramic outlook from Mount Bental over Syria and the Golan Heights. Learn about the geopolitical situation of Israel, the conflict in Syria. Time for prayer for the persecuted Christians in the entire Middle East. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee.

DAY 10: Friday, 13 OctoberWalk where Jesus walked around the Sea of Galilee. Board a wooden sailing boat, fashioned after the ancient fishing vessels, for a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. A time to worship, pray and reflect. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the famous Sermon on the Mount. Visit the Tabgha Church, known as the site of the Miracle of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. Journey to Capernaum (John 6:24) to visit the first century synagogue where Jesus preached and healed the epileptic boy (Matt. 4:13-17, Mark 9:14-29). St. Peters Fish Lunch. A visit to Nazareth Village, a hands-on experiences that transport guests to life on a Jewish village in the Galilee two thousand years ago. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee

And Elijah came unto the people” (1 Kings 18:20, 21) Visit and teaching at the Muchraka on Mount Carmel, where the Prophet Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal. A view over the valley of Jizreel.[11:00-13:00] Visit to Kehilat HaCarmel, a messianic commu-nity on Mount Carmel. Visit to Megiddo, one of the most important archeological sites in Israel, located in a beautiful national park. Megiddo is recognized at UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 and is forecast to be the site of Armageddon in the Bible book of Revelations. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee.

DAY 12: Sunday, 15 OctoberVisit the Haifa Home for Holocaust Survivors. In 2009, ICEJ began a partnership with the local charity to provide a Home especially for lonely survivors. It offers attractive assisted-living facilities and a warm family environment. Discover how ICEJ’s work continues to be of great significance. Drive over the Via Maris, "the Way of the Sea" (Matthew 4:15). Explore historic Caesarea Maritima, the Roman Capital of Judea, where Peter followed God's leading to visit Cornelius (Acts 10) and where he proclaimed the gospel to the Romans (Acts 24-26). Jonah’s journey, Tabitha’s restoration to life, and Peter’s conversion of the gentiles all began in Jaffa. A visit to the Old Center of Jaffa with its harbor. DAY 13: Monday, 16 OctoberVisit the Biblical city of Beth-El, the place where king Jerobeam built his Golden Calf and Jacob dreamt his dream. A small Israeli community resettled Beth-El in 1977. Discover Beth-El's story and meet her people. Tel Shiloh was a religious center for the Israelites even before Jerusalem: it was the place where the children of Israel brought the Tabernacle to. Visit the exposition “Until Shilo Comes”, visit the ancient excavations of the Biblical city Shilo and explore the place where the Tabernacle stood for 369 years. Lookout on biblical Samaria from Mount Gerizim, the biblical Mount of Blessings. A tour through the archeological findings of the Samaritan temple on top of Mount Gerizim. An encounter with the community of the Samaritans that live on Mount Gerizim till this very day. View over Ancient Shechem with the Tomb of Joseph and Jacob's well, the place known for the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman (John 4:4-42) Discuss the meaning of “living water” in the Hebrew Scriptures and Jesus’ teaching.
