Integrated Catering Equipment (UK) Ltd is a wholly independent key organisation within the Lomond Group of companies, operating from purpose built facilities in Aberdeen, UK. The company employs some 35 core staff to service current Accommodation, Catering, Laundry and Refrigeration maintenance contracts & projects within the North Sea, UK and internationally. Areas of Expertise Since 1993, ICE UK Ltd has become established as a leading supplier of traditional and marine catering, refrigeration & laundry equipment to a worldwide client base. ICE provides a full design/installation and maintenance service to Offshore and Onshore sites providing a quality service from full turnkey package to single items. 2. Specialist Services - Architectural

One of ICE’s biggest strengths is in design and development. Our designers work with the client and turn a conceptual idea into reality with the absolute minimum of compromise to quality and safety. At ICE we work with our clients to design and manufacture custom built furniture and furnishings for all areas of their offshore accommodation modules. We have both 2D and 3D CAD systems and can produce in house rendered visualisations of projects prior to approval and commencement on site. We pride ourselves in demonstrating our versatility and capability to satisfy all customer enquiries.

3. Specialist Services – Equipment Design & Sales

The ICE (UK) Ltd Equipment Sales Department will design, specify, advise and procure all types of catering, laundry and refrigeration equipment and specialized fabrication and countering. We are distributors of many industry recognized brands and as such offer competitive quotations for all requirements. We also offer a comprehensive spares services for all types of laundry, catering and refrigeration equipment. At our offices we have electronic parts catalogues for the identification and procurement of spare parts. As part of our service portfolio our team of factory trained engineers can provide a fully guaranteed on and offshore spares fitting service and a full installation and commissioning service. Where our advice is sought by clients, full consideration is given to the individual applications and budgets and utilizing our experience we will provide a fit for purpose solution to our clients overall satisfaction. It should be noted that the provision of equipment to the Offshore Sector requires specialist knowledge, particularly in relation to marinized specifications such as materials and voltages. Subsequently this equipment will often have a premium price due to its specialist nature.

4. Specialist Services – Refrigeration

ICE (UK) Ltd, also provides a comprehensive refrigeration equipment sales and service package both to onshore and offshore sites. Our team of refrigeration engineers are fully trained in all aspects of refrigerant handling-minimising the impact on the environment. All refrigeration equipment supplied by ICE will comply with the latest regulations for environmental protection. We are distributors for all types of FOSTER refrigeration equipment, a recognised world market leading manufacturer. A full cold room specification, design, and build service is available. Our team will provide a full specialist turnkey package for all your cold storage requirements. Our engineers provide a fast and efficient installation, repair and maintenance service. Maintenance of refrigeration systems is a specialized field, in which ICE (UK) Ltd are recognized market leaders. Our engineers are available on 24-hour call to attend to all refrigeration system breakdowns. Spares for all types of refrigeration systems are available from stock, minimizing downtime in the event of system failure.

5. Specialist Services – Equipment Installation, Repair & Maintenance Services

In conjunction with the sale of all types of equipment ICE (UK) Ltd can provide a full warranty and after sales package of installation and commissioning and pre-planned maintenance programs. Our team of factory trained engineers has experience with all types of catering and laundry equipment. We have extensive experience in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) programmes and we currently have a number of contracts in operation at various locations on and offshore. Ad-hoc visits can also be provided to suit the requirement of our clients. Detailed computerized records are maintained at our premises for all maintenance contracts and a comprehensive reporting service is provided to our clients. This reporting provides documentary evidence of both our service and equipment monitoring. ICE currently has Multi-Discipline Engineers (MDE) on a number of platforms in the North Sea Sector including the following:

The role of the MDE is:

• To ensure the safe operation of all Catering, Laundry and Portable Domestic Appliance Equipment.

• To ensure that all the Catering, Laundry and Domestic Appliance Equipment is in working order at all times for as long as possible as far as is reasonably practicable.

• To provide advance notice on the advisability of replacing equipment, so that a structured buying programme can avoid budget peaks.

• To advise the client on the best way of using the equipment, from a technical point of view, to ensure it continues in working order.

• To allow for a knowledge base to be built up by our engineers, so that repairs are made in a timely and efficient manner.

• To allow the holding / management and thus almost immediate availability of manufacturers recommended spare parts on the client’s behalf by ICE.

• To provide an auditable system for recording the actions taken and recommended by our engineer.

We take pride in the excellent safety performance of our engineers which is reflected in the positive feedback we receive from our clients. In addition literature, including operating instruction, installation manuals, spare parts lists and maintenance / repair manuals are all kept within our premises and are readily available to all our clients, should they be required. Through our relationship with our suppliers, spare parts for all types of equipment are readily available. This service coupled with our engineering expertise ensures equipment downtime due to breakdown is minimized.

6. Specialist Services – Onshore Services

In addition to our core services, we have an onshore service division providing a full installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair service. Our engineers are fully flexible to meet the requirements of our onshore clients in providing call out cover, access to equipment outwith operational periods for kitchen use etc. All engineers are fully trained and in possession of all industry recognised certification for equipment maintenance.

ICE are one of the latest group of successful companies to join this leading edge scheme, designed to help industry improve it’s safety record. We recently received accreditation from SAFEcontractor, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practice amongst UK contractors.

All our onshore engineers are Gas Safe registered, ensuring we comply with UK legislation for gas safety.

Now amounting to over 100 assets this is an excellent example of our capabilities in the provision of equipment and through our partnership, the services we provide to these clients has extended to maintenance and refurbishment programmes. Eurest Services, also part of the Compass Group, is the leading provider of food and support services in the UK. Today nearly 1,500 organisations place their trust in Eurest Services to support their businesses and enjoy the benefits that come with working with the industry experts. ICE (UK) Ltd, again provide their full range of services to Eurest Services.

Entiér Ltd was established in September 2008 and is a new and exciting contract catering and support services company, based in Aberdeen, UK. Entiér, which trans-lates from French as “all-encompassing”, was formed to support the activities the Olive Garden Catering Company, the successful Aberdeen service company, that has built its success on onshore facility and event catering and has established con-tracts with organisations such as Robert Gordon’s College and the University of Aberdeen. The incoming experience of several people has allowed the company to move into offshore catering and support services, with all aspects of the company now coming under the name Entiér. The company, currently employs more than 150 people and ICE are providing a variety of services to this fast growing enterprise.

11. Corporate Facilities Offices In 2008, ICE (UK) Ltd demonstrated a commitment to its central operations in Aberdeen by investing in an extension to its purpose built premises occupying a 1.8 acres site in Altens, Aberdeen.
