Explanation for high social expenses and low meeting expenses
Hotels in India charge for the food that they serve (lunch and tea) on a per person basis.
If the number of attendees exceed 150, they do not charge any amount for conference facilities.
This is beneficial to the conference as expenses beyond the threshold become variable expenses – related to the registration count rather than a fixed expense.
