DESIGN OPTIMIZATION 1) Supported Frequency Reuse Architecture The Frequency reuse architecture is now supported for LTE technologies. In high density environments such as stadiums, this architecture is recommended to reduce interferences between sectors.

2) Body Loss Modeling In busy stadiums or concert halls, body loss can now be modeled to better predict signal loss traveling through a crowded area. Define the body loss area on the floor plan where spectators are sitting or standing.

Body loss has an impact on prediction and SNIR maps.

3) Best Server Maps with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th order The new LTE Best Server RSRP and LTE Best Server RSRQ maps with 2nd, 3rd and 4th order detect interferences in environments with high numbers of sectors. Once interference is shown in the Best Server map, run the subsequent maps to identify the sectors causing the high interference levels.

4) LTE Handoff Matrix The new Handoff matrix provides data about the level of overlap between interfering sectors and is supported for LTE RSRP and LTE RSRQ output maps.

Additional Handoff Matrix data can also be exported to .CSV file format.

SUPPORTED LTE-LAA BANDS 5) Supported 5GHz LTE-U/LAA band The system wizard now includes 5GHz LTE-U/LAA band for LTE-A technology.

VERSION COMPATIBILITY AND UPGRADE 6) New file properties and version numbers The file properties and version number provides the project file’s metadata that indicates the last version number that the current project was saved with.

7) Warning messages to upgrade version A warning message is displayed when the version number is older than the current version number of the software, to encourage users to run the project with the upgraded version for better performance and more accurate prediction results.

ADDITIONAL DATA IN ANTENNA REPORT 8) Antenna Report Data and Custom Reporting The antenna report now contains additional columns for example Antenna Model, etc.

For active DAS designs, information related to remote unit connected to antenna is available in .XML format. This information includes Part ID, Model, and Manufacturer of the remote unit connected to antenna. A popular request from users for link budget between remote unit and the antenna is available as well.

ENHANCED WALL AND MATERIAL APPEARANCE 9) Wall color and size modified directly on floor plans Users can now edit the wall material properties and surface areas directly on the floor plans where color, style and size can be more prominent on the floor plans.

A new Material Properties tab is added to the Modeling tab.

USABILITY IMPROVEMENTS 10) Sharper Prediction Areas Prediction areas have sharper edges and prediction file are smaller in size.

The following issues have been resolved in iBwave Design Version 10.0.1.

DSGN-11771 Certain conditions with excluded areas not configured properly causes file corruption.

DSGN-11840 Deleting a small cell causes the application to stop working.

DSGN-11897 Unable to open automation tool configuration file that is created in version 10.

DSGN-11909 Fiber cable length is miscalculated in Fiber Link Budget report.

DSGN-11918 Application running on Windows 7, stopped working when accessing output maps configurations in project properties.

DSGN-11934 Exported plan images are misaligned when cropped.

DSGN-11943 Unable to modify or to save any material in DB Editor application.

DSGN-11944 The output map displayed on a floor plan is not always refreshed when another output map is selected.

DSGN-11945 The Compliance report is not always generated.

DSGN-11949 The body loss zone height is incorrect when inclined surface arrow points from right to left.

DSGN-11954 The Design revision option is no longer available when selecting Save to Server.

DSGN-11241 Survey data contains incorrect Datetime format.

DSGN-11732 Service groups are reset once components are deleted.

DSGN-11822 A Unity project with an empty currency causes a Design project failure.

DSGN-11883 Layout plans exported to images are misaligned.

DSGN-11946 Duplicating a transceiver does not duplicate the properties of its sources.

DSGN-11948 Images on floor plans are misaligned after exporting to image or .PDF format.

DSGN-12013 Add a button to give users the option to open a folder containing project settings.

DSGN-12018 PCC configuration is not set when an LTE-A radio head with PCC configuration is dropped on design plans.

DSGN-12020 The prediction map is misaligned in the Output map report and when exporting the map to an image on a floor plan.

DSGN-12045 Prediction results are not displayed at the right height in 3D viewer.

DSGN-12060 The atrium hole on a horizontal or inclined surface remains in place even when the surface is moved or rotated around the floor plan.

DSGN-12068 The Reset license button is mistaken for the OK button and must be moved.

DSGN-12073 The PCC setting is not configured by default, preventing users to run LAA maximum throughput map.

DSGN-12077 The LTE RSRQ and LTE Total Received Power maps do not consider assigned channels.

DSGN-12092 Incorrect capacity results are calculated for WCDMA.
