A two day course taking students through a range of splices knots and rope work techniques. This course forms an integral part of our full 47 week practical boatbuilding course, and is also available to external candidates.

Various knots are taught from the practical to the decorative, from the reef knot and bowline to the wagoner’s hitch and rolling hitch, Turk’s head and monkey’s fi st are also featured
