Overview

Security Verify Governance 10.0

Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools help organizations managedigital identity and access, ensure the right people get the right access to theright resources (for example, applications and data) at the right time for the rightreasons. IGA is a fundamental building block of an organization’s identity and accessmanagement strategy that leads to improved and streamlined business process, thatfacilitates compliance and reduced risk of unauthorized access, and that providesefficient control and automation for identity lifecycle management.

Security Verify Governance, a mature product with comprehensive IGA capabilities,is recognized as a market leader by multiple analysts, including Gartner, Forrester,and KuppingerCole. Security Verify Governance has gone through a significantevolution over the last few years.

Long-standing innovations, such as business activity based risk modeling forSeparation of Duty, continue to be significant differentiators of Security VerifyGovernance that can provide better flexibility and agility for access risk control,offering role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC),and business activity approaches for user access governance. Access Certificationcampaign and risk-based micro-certification helps line-of-business owners andapplication owners ensure users have proper access and can revoke accesspromptly, with complete audit records to demonstrate compliance.

Security Verify Governance provides identity lifecycle management and integratedprovisioning capabilities for a wide range of target systems with its large inventoryof adapters and support of the System for Cross-domain Identity Management(SCIM) compatible target systems. Security Verify Governance:

• Supports onboarding and account synchronization of different types of usersand provides fine-grained account and entitlement management for on-premises servers, directory servers, database systems, cloud infrastructure, andapplications running on premises and in the cloud.

• Provides a business user friendly service portal to manage users and accounts,and supports access request and password management for the portal user andothers.

• Provides a rich set of REST APIs to enable integration with IT servicemanagement tools (ITSM) and home-grown custom service portal applications.

• Includes a ServiceNow plugin application so users use ServiceNow as the serviceportal for access request and manual fulfillment ticket management.

Identity Manager is now included with Security Verify Governance 10.0 and itsupports simple upgrade from Security Identity Manager version 6 and version 7.Identity Manager provides additional flexibility to customize account provisioningpolicy, access request approval and fulfillment workflow. Security Verify Governanceprovides integration tools that enable integration of Identity Manager with SecurityVerify cloud service and makes it easier for organizations to add on governancecapabilities to their existing IBM security identity management deployment.


Security Verify Governance supports role modeling, role mining, and role lifecyclemanagement with a business activity based approach for Separation of Duty riskcontrol for role and application entitlements and permissions.

Security Verify Governance provides easy-to-use integration with Security Verifycloud service. It makes it easier for organizations to add on single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, adaptive access, provisioning, governance, and identityanalytics capabilities offered from a Security Verify subscription.

Licenses under the IBM International Program License Agreement (IPLA) providefor support with ongoing access to releases and versions of the program. Technical support of a program product version or release will be available for aminimum of five years from the general availability date, as long as your SoftwareSubscription and Support (also referred to as Software Maintenance) is in effect.

This technical support allows you to obtain assistance (by telephone or electronicmeans) from IBM for product-specific, task-oriented questions regarding theinstallation and operation of the program product. Software Subscription andSupport (Software Maintenance) also provides you with access to updates(modifications or fixes), releases, and versions of the program. You will be notified,through an announcement letter, of discontinuance of support with 12 months'notice.

If you require additional technical support from IBM, including an extension ofsupport beyond the discontinuance date, contact your IBM representative or IBMBusiness Partner. This extension may be available for a fee.

Money-back guarantee

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the program and you are the originallicensee, you may obtain a refund of the amount you paid for it, if within 30 days ofyour invoice date you return the program and its PoE to the party from whom youobtained it. If you downloaded the program, you may contact the party from whomyou acquired it for instructions on how to obtain the refund.

For clarification, note that (1) for programs acquired under the IBM InternationalPassport Advantage offering, this term applies only to your first acquisition of theprogram and (2) for programs acquired under any of IBM's On/Off Capacity onDemand (On/Off CoD) software offerings, this term does not apply since theseofferings apply to programs already acquired and in use by you.
