Install in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that

produce heat.9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than

the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided foryour safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

ForewordThank you for purchasing the Ibanez TB15/TB15R guitar amplifier. Read this manualthoroughly prior to using your amplifier in order to get the most out of the functionsavailable. Ensure that this manual is also stored in a safe place.

FeaturesThe TB15/TB15R amplifier head provides 15W of output and is mounted with apowerful 8-inch Ibanez original Power Jam speaker to provide high-quality soundand easy operation. The overdrive channel produces smooth and powerful distortionsounds, and the clean channel gives you a clean, crunch sound over the full rangefrom lows to brilliant highs. The TB15R is also equipped with a built-in spring reverb to bring out the depth insound.

Precautions during use Do not subject the amplifier to shocks by dropping, etc., or treat it roughly in any way. Place the amplifier carefully in a stable position. The sound from the amplifier will

vary depending on how and where it is set up. Do not use or store the amplifier in locations where it is subject to direct sunlight or in

environments that experience extreme temperatures and humidity levels. Reduce the volume to 0 or switch off the power supply when connecting the guitar

shielded cable and the effects or other cables required for external connection. Notethat the noise generated when plugs are inserted and removed may cause severedamage to the equipment.

To avoid the danger of fire, do not place containers of liquid on the amp. When you are not using it, leave the power turned off. If you will not be using the

TB15/TB15R for an extended period, leave the power cable disconnected.

Names and functions for each part

    1. INPUT jackThe input terminal of standard 1/4" jack. Make the connection from the electricguitar with a guitar shielded cable.

    2. CLEAN - VOLUME controlThis adjusts the level of amplifier output when using the clean channel. A naturaldistortion can be produced by increasing the volume.

    3. CHANNEL switchThis switches between the overdrive channel and the clean channel.

    4. OVERDRIVE - GAIN controlThis adjusts the gain (level of overdrive distortion.) when using the overdrivechannel. The amount of distortion will be reduced to produce a clear and individualsound when the control is lowered, and the distortion amount increased to providehigher levels of sustain when it is raised.

    5. OVERDRIVE - VOLUME controlThis adjusts the level of amplifier output when using the overdrive channel. If youradjustments to GAIN or EQUALIZATION have made the volume too loud, use thiscontrol to lower the volume.

    6. BASS controlA shelving-type equalizer for the low-range sound area. It is possible to boost or cutthe bandwidth of 100Hz lower by 12dB.

    7. MIDDLE controlThis is a peaking-type equalizer. It is possible to boost or cut the 800Hz bandwidthby 12dB.

    8. TREBLE controlA shelving-type equalizer for the high-range sound area. It is possible to boost or cutthe bandwidth of 4kHz or higher by 12dB.

    9. REVERB-LEVEL control (TB15R only)The TB15R is equipped with a spring reverb function for which the amount of reverbto be applied can be adjusted with the level control. The use of the reverb functionproduces a natural depth to the sound being output.

    10. CD INPUT jackThe input terminal of standard 1/4" stereo jack. Connect it to the headphone outputsocket of a portable CD or cassette player. Adjust the volume using the controls ofthe device connected to the CD INPUT jack.

11.HEADPHONES jackThe 1/4" jack headphone output socket to enable headphones to be connected.Stereo-type headphones can be connected. If headphones are used, sound will notbe output from the built-in speaker.

WarningYou must turn the amp volume to 0 before you connect or disconnect the headphoneplug. Note that the noise and distorted sound signals produced when inserting orremoving the plug with high volume levels will not only result in damage to theheadphones, it may also result in damage to the users hearing. You should also be careful not to raise the volume excessively when usingheadphone. Playing through headphones at a high volume for an extended periodmay damage your hearing.

    12. POWER switchThe switch to turn the power supply on and off. Ensure that this switch is set at OFFwhen the amplifier is not in use.WarningBefore you turn on the power of the amp, make sure that each volume control is setto 0. If you turn on the power when the volume controls are already raised, a suddenloud noise may be produced, possibly damaging your hearing. Please use caution.

Troubleshooting1. The power supply cannot be switched on.

    - Plug the power cable all the way into the AC inlet (
