Paul “Doc” Burnham – Chief Technology Office, Anglepoint

Paul 'Doc' Burnham has over 20 years’ experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), software compliance, and contract and vendor management.

Doc is known for his expertise in the mechanics of ITAM/SAM processes, procedures and implementation. His activities within the SAM ecosystem have included, development work on ISO/IEC 19770 series, developing and presenting ITAM and SAM related training; authoring / co-authoring various white papers and presentations; and working jointly with other SAM practitioners, tool vendors and software publishers to further SAM as a discipline. As member of WG21, Doc serves as liaison to the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Doc is a recognized leader in SAM, having been named an IAITAM Fellow and having been awarded SAM Practitioner of the Year by IBSMA. Doc is a regular Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE awards judge for Asset Management tools. He is an instructor for Advanced Software Manager (ASM), Certified Software Manager (CSM), and 19770-2 SWID Tag Implementation courses.
