We say in our religion– Since our temple was destroyed – prophecy is given to foolish people only!

So – why I need to predict what will bring the future in the Electronics area!?


Since the nineties I use the saying -

What was yesterday only a dream, today it’s reality and may be tomorrow it will be obsolete.

So help me good to find the crystal ball that will help me to adopt the right technology and the best applications.


I still am looking for this crystal ball.…

May be that some of you hold the crystal ball???

months!

WLAM) Richer data (Multimedia) Mobility The products are portable Convergence Of phone, TV/Media, PC and Internet worlds Standardization


Technology enablers Semiconductors following Moore’s law Affordable at 90nm, Leading edge 45 nm Gigabytes of memory for a few bucks Gigahertz speed (of computation and

communication) Communication infrastructure Word wide networks: Internet, Mobile phones,

satellites (TV & data) Powerful Servers farms accessible to all.


Miniaturization Ever smaller from factors Lighter weight, lower power….


User / Application trends Rich Multi-media Graphics, Video, Hi Fi Audio on all platforms Ease of use One click access, network transparency,

automatic from Factor adjustment. Applications diversity Fit for use/context Personalization Wide selection and variety of Apps
