    Troy,MI-April2,2012.IWILLBETHENEXTisajointcollaborationbetweenfashiondesignerandluxurybrandstrategistWilliamMalcolmofWilliamMalcolmLuxeCollection,WilliamMalcolmMediaGroupandIADT-Detroit.Malcolm,acontractemployeeofIADT-Detroit,selectedsixIADT-Detroitdesignstudentsforaground-breakingbrandingprojectthatindividuallyandcollectivelyhighlightsfiveofthecollegesstudents/alumniandtheircreativedegreeprograms.

    Mygoalwiththisprojectwastohopefullyteachthestudentshowtousetheircreativetalentsanddevelopthemintoaviablebusinessmodelutilizingsuccessfulbusinessstrategiesandnetworkingmodels,saidMalcolm,aDetroit-basedfashiondesignerandbrandstrategist.Thestudentsandgraduateswereselectedfortheprojectbecauseoftheirpotentialtobethenextphotographer,thenextstudiophotographer,thenextcouturefashiondesigner,thenextgraphicdesigner,thenexhiondesignerandthenextgamedesigner.

    TheprojectfeaturestheworkofIADTgraduatesMariellaAmadorandSarahLutheraswellascurrentstudentsCedricPoole,NeilJones,BrandonHurstandKarenKish.ItprovidedauniqueplatformforMalcolmtoworkwiththestudentstodeve

    lopeachoftheirbusiness,personalandsocial-mediabrandidentities.DuringtheseveralmonthsthatMalcolmworkedwiththestudents,theyeachcreatedanddevelopedtheirownindividualbrandconceptsincludingcoloranalysisandselection,logodesign,clientinteractionprotocols,competitivepricinganalysis,productsandservicesdescriptions,personalbrandidentities,elevatorspeeches,socialmediaandmarketingconcepts.
