We are pleased to announce the formation of the IAA Conversation Group. The plan is to

get together for a drink on a semi-regular basis and to discuss a film that we will all watch

beforehand (in English, natch). Your hosts from the department will rotate throughout the

semester, with the first session being hosted by Sarah Neef, Emily Stutz, and Richard Bell.

We will be holding our first (trial) meeting on Monday, 18 December, at 1600 in 3.205.

Further sessions will be announced in the new year, depending on the response.

For each session, we will announce three possible films, with the winner to be decided by

popular vote via moodle.

If you are interested in attending the Conversation Group, either for this session or in the

future, please send a short email to sarah.neef@tu-dortmund.de, so that we can get an

idea of the numbers. You will then be added to the moodle classroom, where you will be

able to cast your vote for the first film. We look forward to seeing you there.
