The Condair CP3 electrode boiler steamhumidifier is an economic yetdependable solution for steamhumidification.

It is easy to install, simple to use andprovides accurate and responsivehumidity control. Innovative featuressuch as water conductivity monitoringand staged electrode use maximise thelifetime of the steam cylinder and

extend the operational periodsbetween service requirements.

When servicing is needed, the CondairCP3’s design makes it easy to drain,remove and replace the disposablesteam cylinder, keeping downtime to aminimum.

Intelligent Water Quality and Level ControlWater conductivity managementAn electrode boiler humidifier operatesby passing electrical current throughwater to heat it. As the waterevaporates its mineral contentbecomes more concentrated. Thisincreased level of conductivity affectsthe level of steam production. To maintain an accurate output theconcentration of minerals in the water is automatically reduced throughdrainage and replacement with fresh water.

Steel electrodes with “lattice” designThe robust zinc coated steel elementsprovide a long operational life. Theirspecial lattice structure offers thegreatest possible surface area foroptimal transfer of current to thewater.

Staged electrode use to prolong lifeOnly the lower sections of theelectrodes are initially submerged andused to create steam. During operationthe parts of the electrodes submergedin the water become encrusted with

scale. As their conductivity reduces thewater level is automatically raised tosubmerge fresh unused electrodes.

This staged approach to water levelcontrol inside the cylinder prolongs thelife of the electrodes and helpsmaintain their efficiency in providingaccurate humidity control.

The Condair CP3 automatically calculates the conductivity of thewater in the boiling cylinder to provide accurate humidity control.

The steam cylinders are at the heart of Condair CP3 system. During theevaporation process minerals willaccumulate in the steam cylinder that after prolonged use will need to be removed.

Depending on your level of desiredmaintenance, the Condair CP3 offers two options:

Cleanable steam cylinders thatcan be emptied of scale andreused many times

Disposable steam cylinders toreduce maintenance time andkeep the system operating

Easy-to-use with Optional Connection to BMSControl panelOperating the Condair CP3 is child’splay. The multiple line LCD displayindicates all operating parameters,service requirements and faultdiagnostics. Control input is via theintegrated keypad. The user-friendlysoftware guides you reliably throughthe menu, even if you infrequently usethe unit.

A CP3 card stores all commissioningsettings and allows for easy re-commissioning as well ascommissioning of several units to thesame configuration.

BMS connectivityThe humidifier has an option to beoperated from a BMS and acceptsModbus Standard, BACnet or LonWorks protocols.
