DESIGN
Two different-sized starting points.
Everyone’s style is different, as is everyone’s wrist. So Apple Watch comes in two case sizes: 38mm and 42mm.
FEATURES
All watches tell time. This one helps you make the most of it.
Now your inner circle is always nearby. Press the button under the Digital Crown to access Friends, a place where you’ll see thumbnails of those you like to stay in touch with most. Tap one to send a message, make a call, or reach out in one of the new ways only Apple Watch makes possible.
1:Stay closer to the people you care about.
2:Messages, calls and mail. Tailored for your wrist.
Apple Watch adds a new dimension to the way you communicate. In just a glance, it shows you who’s contacting you. It even gets your attention the way another person would — by tapping you. There are subtle audio cues too. The experience is discreet and nuanced, with a unique feel for different types of notifications.
Messages:- Sending and receiving messages is easy with Apple Watch. You can dictate a message or select from preset options — Apple Watch will make suggestions based on the things you write most. Or you can skip words altogether by sharing one of our new animated emojis.
Phone:- Use the built-in speaker and microphone for quick calls. You can also put callers on hold while you get your iPhone. Transfer calls from Apple Watch to your car’s speakerphone or Bluetooth headset. And silence incoming calls by covering Apple Watch with your hand.
Mail:- When you get mail, Apple Watch alerts you straightaway. You can read the message, then flag it, mark it as read or unread, or delete it. Or open the message on your iPhone, where you can type a lengthier response.
2.Activity App. There’s more than one way to
look at fitness.
The Activity app on Apple Watch provides a simple and powerful graphic of your daily activity, with three rings telling you everything you need to know. The Move ring shows how many calories you’ve burned. The Exercise ring shows how many minutes of brisk activity you’ve done. And the Stand ring shows how often you’ve stood up to take a break from sitting. The goal? Sit less, move more and get some exercise by completing each ring every day.
A whole new era for apps.A time-saving feature called Glances condenses
the most relevant information from each app into a form you can easily scan on the fly. And because Apple Watch can tap you on the wrist, you’ll be aware of notifications instantly.
1>Calendar:- See what’s next in your day or upcoming week. Apple Watch sends you meeting reminders, as well as calendar invitations you can accept or decline directly from your wrist.
2>Maps:- See your current location and get directions. Maps gives you the single best route. You can also share your location with a friend or search for a local business.
3>Music:- Control the music on your iPhone without taking it out of your pocket. And when you leave iPhone at home to go for a jog, listen to music directly on Apple Watch.
4>Remote Camera:- Apple Watch doubles as a remote for the iSight camera on your iPhone. Use Apple Watch to display a live preview of what your iPhone sees, snap the photo or set the timer on the camera.
5>Stopwatch:- Apple Watch presents this popular watch function in digital, analogue or hybrid view. It can even show you a real-time average of your lap times on a graph — something you won’t find on other watches.
6>Alarm:- Apple Watch lets you manage, label and edit multiple alarms with ease. Simply scroll through the hours and minutes to set your wake-up time.
7>Photos:- Apple Watch keeps your favourite photos on your wrist. You can zoom in to photos with the Digital Crown, then swipe to scroll through them. And even choose one to display on your watch face.
8>Settings:- Enable or disable Airplane mode, Bluetooth and Do Not Disturb. Also turn mute on or off, or ping your iPhone to determine its location.
An entire computer architecture on a single
chip. The Apple S1:- is an integrated computer designed by Apple and as such it includes memory, storage and support circuits like wireless modems and I/O controllers in a sealed integrated package. It was announced on 9th of September 2014 as part of the "Wish we could say more" event. It will make its first appearance within the Apple Watch arriving in early 2015.
TECHNOLOGY
The Apple Watch will work with Apple Pay.
A mobile payment service introduced at the same event as the Watch.
The Apple Watch is capable of receiving phone calls as well as iMessage and SMS Texts.
The Apple Watch can track fitness, run third-party apps and use an Apple feature called "Handoff" (see iOS 8) as long as you own another Apple device.
It can control theApple TV, as well as act as a walkie-talkie and a viewfinder for an iPhone camera.
