b.4 MEDICAL -w & 10. In what wav do vour basic and s~ecialtv enlisted medical trai;ling courses differ from those provided by the Army and the Navy?

There are inherent doctrinal differences due to roles and missions unique to each sewice (air, space. sea. ground) The Army trains all enlisted medical personnel as basic medics then selects them for specialty training The Navy trains all as hospital corpsmen or dentalmen prior to specialty training Air Force medical enlisted personnel are trained

b.4 MEDICAL @a 11. What savings and improvements would occur due to the realignment?

TBD

Consplidated training may reduce resource requirements

\$ *a JSF ma - 4. The proposed Joint Strike Fighter Training Site will require an estimated $209.6 million in implementation costs, and cost $226.3 million over 20 years. The justification for this tremendous expenditure as stated by DOD is: " ... to allow the ITRO process to establish a DOD baseline program in a consolidatedljoint school with curricula that permit services latitude to preserve service-unique culture and a faculty and staff that brings a 'train-as-we- fight' national perspective to the learning process."
