I think I shal never forget angela, especially that fateful day when she...
G.T.L → Fell and broke her foot, she might have been around 10 or 11 years old. It was a warm
summer day, she was playing with the family dog, and as she strafed back to throw the ball, she tread in
a hole and stumbled back, there was a gutwrenching crack, and then a moment of silence, suddenly thesilence was broken by a horrible scream as she yelped out in pain.
CG: As she sat there she was crying not because of the pain but the thoughts of her next weeks weregoing to be dreadful. She not only was going to be tormented by the kids at school but she would also
look like a fool with the new brace she would be receiving. After the tears finished falling down her
rosy red cheeks she noticed the pain was gone and she could sit there and enjoy the warm sun as itdryed the tears from her cheeks. She remembers that day not as the day she hurt her foot but the day
she felt some sence of disappointment in her self as she didnt worry about her physical being but the
mental situation she would be in as school started up again. A splendid situation to a fearful upcoming
event. As she walked inside limping with her newly fractured foot she cryed.
S.M.---> She cried out for her mother now, as the pain had returned to her foot and was now shooting
up her leg with intense verosity. Within a few seconds she heard her mother answer the cry for help shewas upstairs but said, “I'm coming don't worry.” When she got down stairs she said that she had heard
the scream and saw her lying there. Then her mother asked, “where does it hurt?”
D.S: Whimpering she said “ my foot, why, why did this have to happen to me?” Her mother started to
panic. She picked up the phone and started pushing buttons.. it took two seconds for someone to pick
up. I didnt recognize the voice but that was the least of my worries at the time,as for now I was in deep pain and wanted nothing more but to rewind back in time. My mother got off the phone and picked me
up, (last time she picked me up I was just a baby, surprised she was capable of doing that)running for
the front door I heard a sound..like a siren getting closer and closer. The ambulence was
on its way, thank god!

As ambulence arrived I made a sigh of relief, maybe my worries were about to be fixed. But theywere'nt, in fact, things just started to get a whole lot worse. The Doctors said that when I got my
previous X-rays something was missed. My leg was really broken. I was in need of surgury.
A week later I returned to school ready to be laguhed at for my newly obtained cast. It turned out not to
be so bad, everyone was wanting to sign it and it made me feel better about the situation. This seemed
to be another story of my life where I over reacted to my problems.
