AlthoughGodlovesyou,Hestillhatesyoursins.SinceGodisholyandmustpun-ishsin,Hemustmakeajustandrighteouswayofsavingsinners.Otherwisethesinnerwouldhavetopaythepenaltyforhisorherownsins,andthatwouldmeanspendingeternityinHell(Revelation20:15),foreverseparatedfromGod.

Second: God gave His Son... GodlovedyousomuchthatHesentHisSon,JesusChrist,toearthtobecomeamananddieonthecrossofCalvary(Luke23:33)sothatyoucanbesaved.Thepenaltyofyoursinshasalreadybeenpaid,but you must believe it.“HethatbelievethonHimisnotcondemned:buthe that believeth notiscondemnedalready,becausehehathnotbelievedinthenameoftheonlybegottenSonofGod”(John3:18).

GodgaveHissinless SonJesustotakethepenaltyyoudeserve.JesusshedHisownbloodanddiedinyourplaceonthecross,takingthepunishmentyoursinsdeserve,sothatyoucouldhaveeternallife.“GodsentnotHisSonintotheworldtocondemntheworld;butthattheworldthroughHimmightbesaved….Christdiedforoursinsaccordingtothescriptures”(John3:17,1Corinthians15:3).
