If someone you know is homebound or in the hospital,

please call the rectory and let us know. We would like to keep them in our prayers and try to arrange to visit.

Mass Intentions

Part of our tradition as a Catholic Community is to

remember our loved ones in our prayer and gathering. Many times, we do this simple gesture of our prayer in the

intentions of our masses, published each week in our bulletin. If you would like to set a special intention for a loved one, please contact the Rectory at least two weeks

prior to the date you would like to reserve.

Adult Social Group First Tuesday of the month at 11:00 AM in the Rectory.

Parish Pastoral Council

Usually this group meets on the second Monday of every other month at 7:00 PM in the rectory unless it is a holiday.

A Novena for Healing and Atonement An initiative of Catholic laity of Vicariate II to unite the faithful in addressing the issue of clergy sexual abuse, through prayer for healing, atonement, and for the guidance of the Holy Spirit within our Church. Nine evenings of prayer and reflection will be hosted by the parishes below to give us opportunity to walk together in the Spirit toward repara-tion, forgiveness, and healing.

Dear Members of IHM, Hi! I hope everyone had a great summer. It's hard to believe that we're already into a new academic year. We have recently recommenced choir rehearsals and I would like to invite anyone who's interested in singing with us to join, especially as we lost several prominent choir members this past summer due to relocation. No prior musical experience or back-ground is required - simply a passion for praising God through music. Rehearsals are now Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm and the choir sings at the 8:45 a.m. mass every Sunday. If you find yourself unable to commit to weekly rehearsals and masses, please feel free to join us for as many services as you're able, such as holidays. Sunday, September 22, Children's Liturgy of the Word begins at our morning Masses, 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. This liturgy takes place during about half of the mass, and it's when we teach the day's bible readings to the children at their age-appropriate level. It is intended for children from preschool through about 6th grade. The children return to their parents as the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins. Any parents or other adults -- who have attended VIRTUS and are registered with the Archdiocese -- are invited to participate.
