“My name is ‘LITTLE BIG NUT.’ This is the story about me…

How I fell from the top of the tall ‘BIG NUT TREE.’”

"My home is way up high on the top of this tall BIG NUT

TREE, together with my 'BIG NUT' brothers and me!"

“Some of us ‘BIG NUT’S’ are large and some are small,

Some are long and some are tall,Some are green and some are

brown. But only some of us “BIG NUTS”

are ROUND.”

“Each morning, all the ‘BIG NUTS’ would laugh and

play and danced in the leaves that blew along the way.”

“Until one day a strong wind began to blow, and it shook the nuts in the

Big Tree so. And blew away all of the leaves of the tree.

I was afraid.”

“The wind shook me so hard that it soon knocked me free, and I fell straight down from

that tall ‘BIG NUT TREE.’”

“I spun and I spun around fast like a top, out of control I just could not stop. I got so dizzy I didn’t

know which way to go.”

“YOU SEE, I’M A FAT, ROUND ‘BIG NUT.’ SO LIKE A BALL, I HIT THE GROUND AND BOUNCED

UP AND DOWN AND ALL AROUND.”

“As I bounced and rolled I looked back to see, that my tall BIG NUT TREE was now getting smaller than me.”

“Faster I rolled straight down the steep hill, ‘til my tall ‘BIG NUT TREE’

got even smaller still.”

It got smaller…

...Until, suddenly! IT WAS GONE.

“I rolled and I bounced for so very long, that I soon got lost far

away from my home.”

“I soon found a turtle that was sitting alone, and I asked him if he could help me get

back home...?”

...”But he slammed his head deep inside of his shell, not single a word did he

ever tell.”

“I asked a fancy dressed Ostrich, which way I should

go...?

...But she buried her head

deep down in a hole.”

“I found a squirrel and of him did I ask, “Sir, can you please

help me finish my task?

...So he lifted me up high, then proceeded to say,

“I like to eat ‘BIG NUTS!’”

I QUICKLY RAN AWAY.

“I found a licking frog and begged him, sir… please take

me home...

...But he just wiggled and hopped and said,

‘Leave me alone.’”

“I asked some snails that lived there in the grass.

But they move too SLOW, I had to go fast.”

“I asked the ducks to help me get back? But all they said was,

‘QUACK, QUACK, QUACK, QUACK!”

“I asked the bear flying high up in the air, ‘Please

take me from here… over to there’...

...But he got so tired that he fell fast asleep. I was alone,

for no one could

TAKE ME HOME!”

“Finally I asked the monkey what I should do. But she

said, ‘I’m lost too, can I follow you?’”

Then to my surprise a golden colored fish said; “Let’s pray.”

And together we asked Jesus to show us the Way.

“Quickly, my prayer was answered when a beautiful angel bird snatched me up from the ground and flew me

back and forth and all around.”

But when she flew me the other way, she said, “Is that your

BIG NUT TREE over there?” I said… “Please show me where?”

“But when I hit the ground, it buried me deep down below —

until root-like hands and feet I began to grow.”

“Then I popped my head straight up from the ground and saw strange

looking ‘BIG TREES’ all around. These trees were not here before.

But from where did they come? I want to know more.”

“Each day I grew taller until what did I see, but that my sister and

brother ‘BIG NUTS’ were TREES too and were smiling at me.”

I FELL FROM THE BIG NUT TREE is the First Storybook written by Joseph P. Chaddock.

Joseph P. Chaddock is a different style of missionary, who in addition to hosting outreaches of love and compassion has also contributed programs that address many of our overwhelming social concerns today: Such as hunger, poverty and disease. He is the founder of GLOBAL AIDS DAY, MEDICAL SAMARITAN, WORLD STOREHOUSE and THE ORPHANS OF AIDS. All of which have helped provided humanitarian aid, food, water and shelter to some of the poorest people of more than 21 nations. Joseph travels extensively throughout the world to speak at crusades, seminars and churches to testify HOW: Jesus Christ: the same yesterday, today and forever is the ONE solely responsible for his miraculous healing. Joseph is an international worship leader that frequently has prophetic words of encouragement of Musical Prayer. His MUSICAL PRAYER promotes an active demonstration of Faith that releases healing streams over the body, soul and spirit. It is while he is worshipping the Lord when GOD regularly exudes the gift of healing, where upon a number of occasions people were spontaneously healed from all kinds of disease — both mental and physical.But before he could answer the Call to serve, Joseph P. Chaddock was no stranger to sickness and disease. Joseph’s life in 1997 changed dramatically when he was suddenly diagnosed with hepatitis C. And by 1999 the not curable disease struck him so hard that he could barely crawl, and he begged for GOD to take him home. Previously treated for years for an acute kidney defect, Joseph had already undergone several surgeries. But thinking that his doctors had finally cured him, his health once again deteriorated when he was diagnosed as bi-polar, manic depressive and suicidal. That was just the beginning of a myriad of many life-threatening diseases, and much more pain.In 1999 Joseph was completely healed, and became ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is commissioned on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, Israel. In 2004 he became an Associate Pastor for a large African Church, RCCG.
