New Features and Enhancements in this Release
Enhanced – Applicant Income & Asset Editors for LIHTC Layered Properties When adding applicant income or asset income to a property with an LIHTC funding source and another
subsidized funding source (HUD, PHA, RHS), a new field labeled Certification Income Type is now
available. The new options allow users to indicate if the income will be used for the Non-LIHTC
documents, LIHTC documents, or both. This allows for different income amounts to be reported to the
different agencies at the time of move-in. To add applicant income or asset income and indicate which
documents will use the income:
1. Right-click on the applicant and choose Edit.
2. Click Next to move to the Income or Asset Income page of the applicant wizard.
3. Right-click and choose Add > (select income to add).
4. The edit window will open to add the income.
5. At the top of the window click the dropdown arrow next to the Certification Income Type field.
6. Select which document to report the income for. Options are Non-LIHTC, LIHTC, or Both.
7. Add the income using the worksheets provided or by entering the income in the available fields.
Click OK so save the income.
8. The income display will show the amounts to be reported based on the option selected when
adding the income. For example, in the screenshot below, HUD wage income would report the
$10,000 and $12,000 amounts while LIHTC would report the $11,000 and $12,000 amounts.

New – HUD TRACS 202D Voucher Preview Return HUD Properties who have converted to TRACS 202D now have the ability to preview the voucher MAT
file that is returned from HUD or the Contract Administrator (CA) if MAT files are being returned. The
preview will show the HUD/CA version of the amounts requested from the site as well as the approved
amounts from HUD/CA. To preview the returned file:
1. Go to Compliance - TRACS and click the IMAX tab at the top.
2. Click Inbox on the left-hand side.
3. Locate the returned voucher file from HUD/CA.
4. Right-click on the message in the upper grid and choose Preview Returns…
5. The voucher printout will open showing the voucher as Received from HUD/CA. Print or save the
voucher return as needed. Amounts approved by HUD/CA will display in the Amount Approved
column throughout the various pages of the voucher printout.
*Note: For questions about amounts requested or approved when viewing a voucher printout
received from HUD/CA, please contact HUD or your contract administrator.
Updated – Recertification Status Report The Recertification Status Report now includes a column for Last Notice Sent for all funding sources in
the Residents Who Have Not Begun The Recertification Process section of the report. The new column
indicates the date of the last notice sent to the resident and what notice was last sent.

Updated – HUD Funding Sources for DUNS & TIN The Owner DUNS, Owner TIN, Parent Company DUNS, and Parent Company TIN number fields have
been relocated in the Enterprise Console Manager (ECM) and will now be stored on the TRACS Settings
page of each HUD funding source. This change was made to allow properties who have different DUNS
and TINS number for each phase of a HUD funding source to report the correct DUNS and TIN numbers
accordingly.

New – LIHTC Unit Activity Report – Certification Date A new report for LIHTC unit activity is now available for properties with an LIHTC funding source. The
LIHTC Unit Activity Report – Certification Date is generated as of a specific accounting month. This new
report displays all certifications effective for the accounting month selected and is grouped by Move-Ins,
Annual Certifications, Interim Certifications, Corrections, Unit Transfers, Move-Outs, and certifications in
process. The report is generated from the Compliance - LIHTC Certifications module and is located
under the System Reports tab. See below for a sample of the report.
New – LIHTC Unit Activity Report – Create Date A new report for LIHTC unit activity is now available for properties with an LIHTC funding source. The
LIHTC Unit Activity Report – Create Date is generated by selecting the From Date and To Date. This new
report displays all certifications created between the date range entered and is grouped by Move-Ins,
Annual Certifications, Interim Certifications, Corrections, Unit Transfers, Move-Outs, and certifications in
process. The report is identical to the LIHCT Unit Activity Report – Certification Date report with an
additional column to show the date the certification was actually created in the software. The report is
generated from the Compliance - LIHTC Certifications module and is located under the System Reports
tab.

New – PHA Income Exclusions added to Pre-Qualify The application prequalification wizard for PHA properties now allows for income exclusions to be
added to income for qualification purposes. Income must be added to the Applicant prior to processing
the Pre-Qualify. To add the income exclusion after adding the income to the applicant:
1. Right-click on the applicant to be pre-qualified and select Process > Pre-Qualify. 2. The Application Prequalification wizard opens. 3. The new Income Exclusions page is now available. This page will display any income that
was added to the application prior to pre-qualifying.
To add income exclusions to any income showing, right-click on the income and choose Set Exclusion Amount. The Set Exclusion Amount window will open. Enter the amount of exclusion and click OK.

New – Address History Available for Residents The address history page is now available when editing a resident Lease, HUD document, RD document,
or LIHTC document. Previously this page was only available when adding applicants to i-CAM for
screening and verification purposes. To update or change the address history for a resident, right-click
on the household member on the Household Mbrs page of the document wizard and choose Edit. Click
Next to move to the Address History page. Current address and address history may be added/updated
as needed.
New – Lease Termination Notice LEASEES Token The LEASEES token is now available for the Lease Termination Notice. Household members who are 18
or older on the current active household document will now be reported on the Lease Termination
Notice if the token is added to the notice.

Updated – Disposition Wizard When processing a disposition for a former resident the Escrow Ledgers page now includes a column for
reallocations of the security deposit. The display and printout will show escrow monies reallocated to
other escrow ledger codes.
New – i-CAM Central Reporting Escrow Deposit Liability Reconciliation Report The Escrow Deposit Liability Reconciliation Report is now available in i-CAM Central Reporting. The
report is identical to the report available in i-CAM and is grouped by property.

Issues Addressed in this Release
General When closing a work order with Serial Inventory used, if the Inventory Used was edited and an
Item Code was selected but the Serial Item Used was left blank, an access violation error was
generated due to the serial item field being blank. This has been corrected so that an access
violation error will no longer appear.
For properties configured to post rent early for the next month, if the Post Rents action item is
configured to appear immediately after the Rent Pre-Check, the action item for Post Rents
would not appear until the 1st of the month regardless of the configuration settings. This has
been resolved so the Post Rents action item will now appear after the Rent Pre-Check action
item when posting rents early for the upcoming month.
Addressed issue when viewing the details of a resident payment where the full payment was
showing as though it was applied to the prior month and current month charges. This was an
issue with this display only due to a resident credit balance being carried forward from the prior
month. The payment details now show the correct charges paid and the correct amount.
Corrected issue when undoing a move out and the Audit Trail - Disposition Completed ledger
entry was not being removed. Disposition Completed ledger entry is now removed when a move
out is undone where the disposition was already completed.
Addressed issue with applicant names not displaying correctly when processing a HAP payment
for an applicant with the same HAP ID as an existing HAP resident.
Housing & Urban Development (HUD) Updated warning message, “Completing this move in will exceed the number of X bedroom units
assigned to the funding source”, when processing a move-in to a unit where the prior resident
transferred. The message appeared due to the ignoring of the UT and still considering the last
full certification for the transferred resident as being part of the funding source.
Addressed issue where the 59 Voucher display was not showing the correct amount posted if
during the posting of the voucher the amounts are changed. This issue only affected the display.
The voucher printout and bank deposits amounts were correct.
Rural Development (RD) When processing a gross rent change on a 515/8 property, residents assigned to the RD funding
source only were being reset to no deep tenant subsidy. This has been resolved so the residents
will not be reset and the correct assistance will be reported after the GRC is processed.
Tax Credit (LIHTC) Updated the California TIC form for revised January 2015.
Updated the Texas TIC form for revised January 2015.

Issues Addressed in Hotfix
Corrected error when adding a new household member to any household document. After
selecting the type of household to add to the document, selecting No to add an existing
applicant generated an access violation error.
