What things do we take for granted

Child labour

• Companies such as Primark have been caught out in recent times for using children as young as 11 making its clothing

• The company had before claimed that it did not use children to make its clothes but the BBC uncovered factories and children in India doing just that

• Primark claimed it never knew and that orders have been cancelled with the factories concerned

• Many belief that this is Primark turning its back on the ethical issue surely it should be trying to improve working conditions and not just trying to get its name out of the media spotlight.
