The Mild is a traditional style from En-gland.It is generally dark, lightly hopped, and lower in alcohol. This style was the origional “session” ale that we hear many beers being referred to as today.

Historically, the mild has been the pub brew to the blue collar working class. The dark mild, found in the West Midlands of England and further north, was a malty meal in a glass made for the working men in the coal mines and ship docks.

Our mild is a light bodied beer with an intense roasty flavor and aroma and a clean, dry finish. Its color and flavor pro-file almost mirror an Irish dry stout, but is much lower in bitterness, lower in car-bonation, and has a much lighter mouth-feel.
