The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association are pleased to announce theavailability of the 1996 Neonatal Resuscitation Program Grant. This program provides an opportunity tosupport research that furthers knowledge in the area of neonatal resuscitation. These funds may also be used togenerate pilot data to allow the investigator to develop the basis for an application for independent researchsupport through conventional granting mechanisms. A total of $50,000 has been allocated for grants to beawarded in 1996, with no applicant receiving more than 50% of the funds.
Researchers from US and Canadian institutions are invited to apply.
Applications are due August 2, 1996. Awards will be announced in December 1996 for one-year projects to
begin in January 1997.
