Noted for its performance, high load-carrying capability, and low wear rate, our self-lubricating liner systems have established superior results in providing longer life and lower maintenance costs, and are designed to last for decades in harsh environments. Our bearings operate extremely well in salt water and also in muddy rivers due to the resilience of KAron, which also works well with most alloys and composites, allowing for tremendous flexibility in the design.

Gate Systems Kamatics employs a dedicated engineering staff that works very closely with our customers to design self-lubricating bearings for gate systems around the world. Using our proprietary KAron bearing technology, we are able to offer our customers the highest performing, longest lasting, lowest cost-to-own bearings in the industry. Our vertical lift, sector, miter, and radial gate bearings have continuously demonstrated superior results, which in turn, gives our customers confidence in their gate systems.

Power Generation Our self-lubricating KAron liner technology has been selected for a number of Kaplan hub trunnion and wicket gate bushing applications. The use of our proprietary KAron bearing technology eliminates or reduces the need for grease and oil, while at the same time provides a reliable, high load carrying, low-friction bearing interface. Our bearing technology will reduce maintenance cost, improve performance, and increase life even in harsh environments.
