GRADUATION
Graduation for the HVL senior class will take place on Sunday, June 5, at 2:00 in the HVL gymnasium. The class has chosen Isaiah 40:31 as their class passage: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." What a great message for our students as they leave our campus and begin the next phase of their l ives. Stay strong in the Lord!

Staf f News
On May 9, the HVL Board of Regents extended a call to Pastor Jon Enter to be our campus pastor. Pastor Enter is married to Deborah and they have four children (8,7,4,1). He is currently serving at Hope Lutheran Church, West Palm Beach, FL. The board extended a one year call to Mrs. Kirsten Kasten to continue to be our choir director. Kirsten accepted our call and we are excited to see her continue to use her talents at HVL. Frank Kim is an MLC grad who joined our staff this year as our upper level math teacher and tech coordinator. Great news! Mr. Kim's R-1 visa was approved so we have requested that his call be made permanent. Mrs. Kris Ruth has returned her call to teach at West Lutheran High School in Plymouth, MN, as an English instructor. HVL extended a Divine Cal l to Mr. Neil Schl iewe to teach history courses beginning next school year. Mr. Schliewe has accepted our call and we look forward to seeing his family in July.
Please keep the entire HVL family in your prayers as God directs our ministry.
HVL students wil l be honored at two dif ferent events this spring. Al l are invited!
