Husky One Card: Key to Campus

Functions of the Husky One Card:• Official UConn ID• Residence Hall access• Dining Hall access & points and flex passes• Recreation Facility access• Student Health Services access• University Library card• Copying & Printing• Husky Bucks account

Replacing a Husky One Card• $20 replacement fee for lost or damaged card• Students should deactivate their card at One Card

website or One Card App– Can reactivate card if find it later– On nights/weekends, bring another form of ID to the dining

hall and call the Front Desk to be let into residence hall

• Cards that wear out due to normal wear are replaced for free

What are Husky Bucks?

Husky Bucks is a debit-like account linked to each student’s Husky One Card. Once funds are in the account, students just swipe their cards to make purchases, both on and off campus, without having to carry cash or other cards.

• One Dollar = One Husky Buck• Cash withdrawals are not permitted

You decide how much to deposit andwhen to deposit

Quantity determined by meal plan and you cannot add extra at the discounted rate

Why Husky Bucks?Below are just a few reasons why Husky Bucks are advantageous:

• Required for copying and printing in UConn libraries and printing centers• Convenient – no need to carry other cards or cash, students can just use the

card they are already carrying• Can be used for budget purposes and record keeping• Husky Bucks are accepted almost everywhere on and around the Storrs

campus, such as:• Co-op to buy books, supplies, and UConn apparel• Bus rides to the football games• To pay for miscellaneous services/items such as: co-pay at SHS, Husky One Card replacement,

parking fine(s), parking in the garages, student tickets at the Jorgensen, and many more

• Merchants who accept Husky Bucks often offer discounts and incentives when a student pays with Husky Bucks

Guest AccountYou can be set up with your own username and password to view your son or daughter’s transactions and balances for meal plans and Husky Bucks.

Low Balance Alert for Husky BucksThis can be set up by the student or by you through your guest account through the same login process as the guest account and cardholder login.

Husky Bucks DepositsDeposits for Husky Bucks can be made utilizing any of the following options:

• Making a Deposit Today at the Information Expo (cash, check, credit, and debit card)

• Husky Bucks Deposit Terminals in the Student Union, the Co-op, and the Library. Cash only.

• One Card Office in Wilbur Cross, Mon-Fri , 8 am to 5 pm. Cash, check, and credit and debit cards.

• At the Co-op customer service desk. Use cash, check, credit and debit cards.

• From your personal bank’s online bill pay system. Payee is “UCONN HUSKY BUCKS”. Account # is 7-digit PeopleSoft #.

• Charge the Fee Bill by making a request once logged into the student’s account at www.onecard.uconn.edu.

• Online at www.onecard.uconn.edu using a MasterCard or Visa. For this deposit method only, you’ll be charged a $2 convenience fee.
