DEFINE THE LEVEL OF ANTI-MICROBIAL PROTECTION
Photocatalytic nano coating is a system of antibacterial and antiviral photocata-
lytic coatings, based on a unique chemical solution. The system uses the light as
a catalyst for carbon dioxide to have disinfectant features. The constant process
of disinfection lasts for minimum of 12 months. During this time free radicals
and hydrogen peroxide are produced on the surface of the coating and they kill
bacteria, viruses and other pathogens, by turning them into harmless CO2 and
H2O. This solution is much more effective than antibacterial coatings containing
silver, which kill bacterium but do not decompose its body and the endotoxins,
which stay on the surface and constitute a nutrient medium for pathogens.
