As you know they are experiencing flooding from hurricane Harvey and have had to evacuate at this time. We have been in touch with them regarding their needs. It has been determined to take up a Special Collection TODAY. A check will then be sent to the Impact Church in Houston. The intent of the University Center is to assist when other needs are identified. Please make checks out to the Stillwater Church of Christ with Impact Houston in the memo. Continue prayers for all those affected by this disaster. AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE Tuesday, September 26, 2017 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Donating blood or platelets is a wonderful way of reflecting Jesus in your life by supporting those in need in our community. The American Red Cross will set up donation stations in Room 201 in our church building and will accept donations from 9 am to 3 pm. Our last American Red Cross blood drive was very successful and we pray for another successful blood drive because of the great need for blood in our community. Please visit redcrossblood.org and enter: coc to schedule an appointment or sign up on the clip board in the foyer before or after services on Wednesday evening or Sunday morning. You may walk in without an appointment and donate blood or platelets, however, scheduling an appointment is preferable so that the Red Cross can better plan how much staff to send to our blood drive. Children's Church will kick off this morn-ing during worship time. We invite all 3.5 year olds through Kindergartners to join us! The purpose of Children's Church is to offer a place that allows kids the chance to use their wiggles & giggles as they learn to actively participate in a time of worship designed specifically for them! This is a stepping stone that will help to prepare them for being a part of big worship when the time comes. If your child plans to attend, we encourage all parents to see Joy & Maria and sign up to lead at least one Sunday this Fall.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2017 Make plans to join us for a celebration of

our many. Ministries and to explore the

opportunities you have to be a part of a

WIRELESS SOLUTION: A new wireless solution has been imple-mented at the church that gives much greater control of the resources the church has. We are now able to better protect our internal network and limit sites inappropri-ate for our children, staff and members. Along with these new capabilities, mem-bers and guests are now allowed access to the network and internet. To access the wireless network, select “COC Guest” from your device. Password is STIL0717 with the letters being case sensitive. This password will change on a regular basis so watch the Family Concerns for any updat-ed information. Kenneth Wiley, IT Committee

TRANSITION:

Wednesday Night Meals

For the past year Marc Hensley along with Jill and Ellis Nuckolls and their crew have faithfully fed us most Wednesday nights during the school year. Thank you!! Marc recently received a promotion at work that includes a change of schedule that makes it necessary for him to step away from this ministry. Jill is still undergoing rehab from shoulder surgery and also needs to step down.

So, Wednesday Night Meals are in a hold-

ing pattern until some other brave souls step

up to the stovetop. Are you interested? Con-

tact B. J. for details.
