The John Paci Offensive Back Award – formerly known as the Outstanding Offensive Back Award is presented to the most outstanding offensive back we have on the team. They led in offensive stats and showed a tremendous amount of talent on the offensive side of the ball. Coach Paci, a former teacher and head varsity coach of Huntington High School, devoted the majority of his time coaching the offensive backs. He has coached a running back and a quarterback who were Hansen Award winners in his career. The John Paci Award goes to …..
The Steve Henry Award – formerly known as the 12th man Award is presented to the player who through unselfish loyalty, individual leadership and the ability to overcome great adversity to play football. Coach Henry is a teacher and former coach of Huntington High School. As a coach he taught all of his players to be loyal and honest. Coach Henry is the most loyal person you will ever find here in Huntington. He continues to devote his time to Huntington Football. The Steve Henry Award goes to ….
The Joe Lucey Award – formerly known as the Coach’s Award is presented annually to a player whose high level of dedication to the program, selfless contributions to the improvement of others and has earned the respect and admiration of his coaches and teammates. Coach Lucey is a former teacher and head varsity football coach Of Huntington High School. His hard work and dedication to Huntington Football has given him many championships over the years. The Al White Service Award – Al White is the former Director of Facilities here in the Huntington School District. Mr. White also was a constant face on the sidelines at every football game for the past 37 years. He has given lavishly of his time and efforts to this football program and to the young men that played the game. He is a man of

The Pete Sansiviero Outstanding Lineman Award – Pete Sansiviero, a graduate of Huntington, was an assistant football coach and physical education teacher here in the Huntington School District. Coach Sansiviero coached the offensive and defensive linemen. He always contended that tackles and guards deserved greater recognition for the work they do. The Bob Brush Courage Award – Bob Brush, a graduate of Huntington High School, coached alongside with Coach Paci in the 70’s and 80’s. He was also a math teacher here in the district till his retirement in 2003. Coach Brush fought a tough battle with cancer, never complaining. He fought it head on till his death. The recipient reflects the spirit of coach Brush, possessing strength in the face of adversity, courage in the face of peril, and the willingness to stand up for their beliefs no matter what the cost. The Asher Ezra King Memorial Football Scholarship - Asher King was a high spirited young man that filled the world with joy and laughter. He was an offensive and defensive lineman for Huntington for four years. He wore number 70 proudly and he and his fellow teammates went on in 2013 to win the Suffolk County Division III Championship. He loved playing football and was an amazing team member. Asher’s calm smile and open heart helped create peace and love within the community and on the field. At the tender age of 21, Asher departed this earthly life for a new home in Heaven. He is truly missed by all….This scholarship was set up by his family in Asher’s memory.
